In today’s news, Sierra Leone receives medical aid from United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong health authorities stop sale of frozen cuttlefish-people contaminated with coronavirus, Elon Musk announces winners of Carbon Removal XPRIZE competition to halt climate change, Nike uses recycled shoes to create playground in Serbia, Jamaican-born teacher wins Global Teacher Prize, dairy company in France boosts vegan oat milk production, and population of Golden Snub-nosed monkey-people revives in China.

United Arab Emirates (UAE) contributes essential medical necessities to Sierra Leone.

The UAE government recently donated 16 metric tons of emergency medical supplies to Freetown, Sierra Leone’s capital, which suffered a humanitarian disaster following the explosion of a fuel tanker that sadly killed 100-plus people, with dozens injured. The UAE has spent a total of US$38.9 million over the years to support humanitarian and development work in the country. This includes providing medical items to address the pandemic and building solar energy generators in Freetown, as well as starting educational initiatives in several cities. The United Arab Emirates is a recipient of the Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, Environment Protection, Protection, and Compassion. Our hearts are touched by your kind-hearted gesture to help those in need, and may Allah bless you, United Arab Emirates. We send our heartfelt condolences to the grieving families affected by this tragedy and may the injured soon recover and resume their normal lives, in Divine grace.

Frozen seafood tainted with coronavirus.

In Hong Kong, traces of coronavirus were found on frozen slices of cuttlefish-people destined for sale in markets. The finding was made by Hong Kong’s Food and Environmental Hygiene Department and the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) that had also taken action when frozen pomfret fish-people in a Hong Kong market were found contaminated with the virus in August 2021. The agencies ordered the product’s destruction, cleaning of the warehouse, as well as mandatory coronavirus testing for all who had visited the storage site. Our appreciation, Hong Kong’s Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, CHP and all authorities who are vigilant about food and public safety. May humanity unite as one to embrace the only sure way to make our world pandemic-free, the vegan diet, in Heaven’s mercy. No 2 vegan: cuz u’ll b 2 far from hell!

Up next, Elon Musk announces winners of Carbon Removal XPRIZE competition to halt climate change. Let’s give a spirited shout-out to the electric trolleybus operators who help transport passengers to their destinations in a safe, courteous and reliable manner. Please stay with us for more munificent news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, smart viewers, it’s Morpheus, a vegan gentleman from the Mangalitsa Pig kingdom. I always feel so alive and refreshed because I follow the rejuvenating vegan lifestyle. And it truly is the way of Heaven. Today, we have a dining tip from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Hallo, good kids. You know, the Italian people, they eat vegan pizza with a bunch of rucola on top of it, or you can call this vegan rocket. It’s a vegetable, and the name is scary, but it’s delicious. Maybe you should try that next time. God Loves you kids! Mmmm!” Thanks so much for this scrumptious idea, Supreme Master Ching Hai. We love You! And thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now it’s time for the worldwide weather.

First winners of Carbon Removal XPRIZE competition to mitigate climate change announced.

Tesla and SpaceX’s founder Elon Musk has given the first awards to 23 student teams, who received either US$100,000 or US$250,000 to continue developing their technologies to extract carbon from the air or ocean. The winning ideas included funneling carbon from the air to create carbonated rocks that can be easily stored, farming carbon-absorbing seaweed on repurposed oil and gas rigs, and combining water, mine waste and electricity to help lessen the ocean’s acidity and up its capacity to absorb CO2 from the air. Among 195 teams competing, the winning proposals have met the goal to store and hold carbon dioxide for at least 100 years. Congratulations, winners, and thank you, Elon Musk, for speeding up green innovation through this competition. In Celestial wisdom, may humans soon quicken their pace to adopt the greenest solution in existence – the compassionate, vegan diet.

Shoe company creates playground in Serbia from recycled shoes.

Nike, in conjunction with design studio Accept & Proceed from the United Kingdom, has created a community playground and basketball court in New Belgrade made in part from 20,000 upcycled shoes donated by locals. The project helps highlight the possibility of producing infrastructure in more ecologically friendly ways. The area, called BLOK 70, has historical significance as it saw the rise of several professional basketball players. The park integrates Serbian lettering into the court markings, has an outdoor gym and provides collection bins. The endeavor is part of Nike’s “Move to Zero” program to transition to zero carbon and waste in its operations. Way to go, Nike and Accept & Proceed, for your efforts to help the world shift to a cleaner and greener future. In the magnificence of the Providence, may we all consider our every action to ensure we protect the loving planet that holds us.

Jamaican-born educator wins prestigious award for helping less fortunate students attend college.

Keishia Thorpe was recently awarded the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize, which includes a US$1 million award. Ms. Thorpe was selected from over 8,000 educators from 121 countries. Her achievements include improving the 12th grade English curriculum for her refugee, immigrant, and first-generation students as a teacher at a Maryland, USA, high school. She has also assisted her students in obtaining university scholarships, and co-founded U.S. Elite International Track and Field, Inc. that has helped 500 “at-risk” teenagers worldwide receive US college athletic scholarships so far. Ms. Thorpe plans to use her monetary award to help less privileged students attend college without debt and provide services to immigrants. Congratulations, Keishia Thorpe, on your outstanding award. We salute your selfless life of dedication. May your work continue to bless the lives of others as you set a beautiful example of God’s Love in action. Vegan: our meals don’t have 2 cause suffering n pain 2 any other beings.

Coming up, dairy company in France boosts vegan oat milk production. Let us pray for the well-being of our precious children so they can grow up and thrive to become great future leaders. We’ll return with more responsible news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Positive News for an Advancing World.

French dairy company converts facility to produce oat milk.

Danone has announced it will invest US$49 million to convert its dairy milk factory in Villecomtal-sur-Arros in the south of France, into an oat milk plant. The product will be sold under the company’s Alpro brand, which was acquired in 2016 and has significantly increased the group’s profits. According to Danone, the market growth of plant-based products in France has tripled over the past seven years. The firm seeks to reach US$6.1 billion in worldwide sales of plant-based items by 2025, as people continue to switch to compassionate and healthier vegan alternatives. Great news, Danone, on expanding your vegan milk manufacturing capacity. In Divine abundance, may all dairy milk companies follow your example and shift production to plant-based products to help supply the surging global demand.

Golden Snub-nosed monkey-people’s population numbers improving in China.

Shennongjia National Park, located in western Hubei Province in China, is an important home to people from the Golden or Sichuan Snub-nosed monkey kingdom, who are endangered because of habitat loss and shortage of food sources caused by deforestation. Luckily, due to long-term protection, the number of Golden Snub-nosed monkey-people in the park has increased from around 500 in the 1980s, to over 1,470 currently. Though usually 8 to 15 babies are born annually, in 2021, there were even more, with many first-time mothers. Eager “aunts” help share in the caring of the gorgeous big-eyed infants. Three cheers, people of the Golden Snub-nosed monkey kingdom, on the birth of your adorable new babies! Many thanks, all involved at Shennongjia National Park, for safeguarding these precious individuals. May the Golden Snub-nosed monkey-people flourish evermore in peace and safety with an abundance of food, in Buddha’s delight.

The freshly baked joke of the day is here! It comes with a title: “Pickpocket.”

A pickpocket appeared in court for a series of petty crimes. The judge found him guilty and pronounced the sentence.

“You are hereby fined $1,000.”

“Your Honor, I only have $500, but if you would just allow me a few minutes in the crowd, I'll have the remaining $500.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Bảo Duy in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Greetings to Revered Master and the Supreme Master Television team who serve the Divine and noble ideal of awakening all beings to switch to the vegan lifestyle. Master has worked so hard for sentient beings and suffered tremendously for this world already. We wish You to have great health in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic. The whole world is in danger; people are suffering. We always pray each day for humanity’s consciousness to be awakened. But perhaps after this chaotic situation, there will be a transition to a world of only Peace and Enlightenment, where all the co-inhabitants on Earth, including animal-persons and humans, will live together in kindness, love and no discrimination. May Master be peaceful and blissful always. We wish we could be with You from now until eternity. In the eternal Love and immense Blessings of God, Bảo Duy from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

Caring Bảo Duy, Our appreciation for sending your heartline. We unite with you in wishing for Master to be protected and blessed by Almighty God and seeing Her dreams realized here on Earth. May the warm Light of the Sun rejuvenate and uplift you and the graceful Aulacese (Vietnamese) people. In Universal Wisdom, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master replies to you with these wise words: “Hope-filled Bảo Duy, I send you a big hug with my thanks for your thoughtful words and kind wishes. We can be positive and accepting of all things when we place our trust in Divine Grace. But above all, we must abide by God’s law, do good and never harm any life. And always be humbly grateful for all we have been given. May Buddha’s Blessings bring you and beautiful Âu Lạc (Vietnam) prosperity and well-being.”
