South African hero with a loving heart remembered.

The Most Reverend Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a Nobel Peace prize laureate who was instrumental in ending apartheid in South Africa, passed away on December 26, 2021, at the ripe age of 90. He was known as a strong champion of human rights and justice by non-violent means, and strived with great determination to bring freedom and peace to his fellow South Africans. The Archbishop worked to bring reconciliation and healing between peoples in his nation as well. He was also active worldwide in promoting HIV prevention, urging action on climate change, and aiding in conflict resolution. Condolence messages have poured in from government and religious leaders, organizations, celebrities and others from across the globe. We share the sorrow with the world, of his passing, wishing him peace in the eternal embrace of Divine Love.

Collaboration brings assistance to refugees at the Belarus-Poland border.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Belarus, and the Belarus Red Cross have provided emergency care to migrants and asylum-seekers at the Belarus border near Poland. The aid to the approximately 2,000 people, mostly Kurds from Iraq, is focused on preventing more loss of life. Sadly, at least eight people have succumbed to the below freezing weather recently.

Food assistance and hygienic items for women and children have been delivered as well as warm clothing, blankets, gloves, boots and hats. More permanent options are being discussed, including seeking asylum in Belarus, and assistance to those voluntarily choosing to return to their home country. We are touched, International Organization for Migration, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and Belarus Red Cross, for your swift actions to protect precious human lives. In Heaven’s infinite blessings, may the displaced remain safe and soon greet brighter tomorrows.

Research finds zoonotic disease outbreaks closely linked to harmful human actions.

A study by scientists from The University of Queensland, Australia, concludes that destructive human activities, including land-use change, the wildlife trade, and intensive animal-people livestock production are driving the emergence of zoonotic diseases such as the SARS-CoV-2 virus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic. In turn, these emergencies are likely to have increased negative impacts on biodiversity and the ecosystems, which then trigger more damaging human activities, leading to the further arising of zoonoses in an interconnected feedback loop. To solve the COVID-19 crisis and avoid the future development of zoonotic pathogens, the paper highlights that decision makers should urgently address harmful human behaviors, while safeguarding biodiversity and ecosystem health. Many thanks for the insightful analysis, The University of Queensland scientists. In God’s uplifting Light, may all governments immediately ban meat consumption, which is the main source of land degradation, species loss, and climate change. No 2 vegan: only people who have heart will feel the animal-people’s pain.

Up next, Saudi Arabia plans world’s first non-profit city. We’ll just thank the vegan food exhibitors, who showcase their delectable, life-saving products at exhibitions, expos, and trade shows to customers and potential business partners. We’ll return with more alleviating news after this message here on Supreme Master Television.

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, recently announced plans for the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Non-Profit City. The area will be a people-centered and sustainable metropolis that helps to incubate volunteer and youth groups, as well as international and local non-profits. There will be academies, colleges, a science museum, a creative center for those looking to advance next generation technologies, art galleries, a residential complex and more. Over 44% of the entire area will be designated as green space. Saudi Arabia is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership for Loving Care Award. In Allah’s immense Love, may your project set a precedent of peace for all cities, as we move towards more international collaboration and progress towards a brighter future in harmony.

Portugal prohibits single-use plastics.

The Portuguese government recently brought into effect legislation that ends the sale of single-use items made of or with plastic such as cutlery, straws, stirrers, balloon sticks and styrofoam cups and food containers. The ban is now mandatory and operational in all European Union member states. Portugal also has established a requirement that restaurants provide reusable food containers for customers, that will go into effect in January 2024, and plans to phase out other types of single-use food and beverage containers and packaging by 80% in 2026. Congratulations, Portugal, on joining your European Union neighbors in this important step toward being a responsible environmental steward! May Heaven strengthen such efforts across the globe that preserve nature and our precious planet for the benefit of all!

Police officer in Hawaii, United States, saves baby’s life.

Officer Dean Terakawa is being lauded as a hero for reviving a non-responsive 10-month-old infant. While in his vehicle at a police substation, two panicking parents approached him with their child who had a high fever and had stopped breathing. Officer Terakawa swiftly called for paramedics, then took the baby and performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation until the boy became responsive and was able to breathe on his own. The child received further treatment from the paramedics and was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Officer Terakawa shared that he had a similar experience with his youngest daughter more than 17 years ago so he immediately knew what the parents were feeling, adding, “I’m just doing my job.” An enthusiastic salute, Officer Dean Terakawa, for your life-saving response. May the lovely baby and his family enjoy a happy future with the best of health, in the caring love of the Providence. Vegan: our meal doesn’t have 2 cost the world.

Coming up, Oxford study finds the vegan diet as the most inexpensive among all diets. We’ll just pause to sincerely thank God for always being there for us no matter the circumstances. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more sharing news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Distinguished News for a Kinder World.

United Kingdom study shows vegan diet is most affordable.

A recent analysis conducted by the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom and published in “The Lancet Planetary Health,” found that a vegan diet has between 25 and 29% lower food costs than meat diets. The scientific study compared the cost of more sustainable diets to typical ones in 150 countries and assessed which styles of eating are more feasible for widespread adoption in terms of cost. When put into practical terms, the researchers estimated that the classic Western diet costs about US$50 per person per week, while a vegan one costs as little as US$33. Yet another great reason to choose a plant-based way of life! Thank you, Oxford University scientists, for your investigation that shows a healthy and cost-effective vegan diet is the best solution for people. May humanity heed this advice and quickly adopt the vegan lifestyle, in Divine guidance.

Turtle-person rescued from mudflat on East Coast of United States.

The 1.5-meter long, 272 kilogram leatherback turtle-gent was spotted stranded on a mudflat alongside a Cape Cod, Massachusetts river. A team of volunteers from Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, International Fund for Animal Welfare, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient and the New England Aquarium worked quickly to keep him from drifting back into the river with the incoming tide. A heavy-duty cart, stretchers and mats were used to transport the handsome turtle-prince to a sanctuary for a medical examination, where he was found to be strong and healthy. After being fitted with tracking devices to monitor his progress, he was then released at Herring Cove in Provincetown to return to the Atlantic Ocean, as a supportive crowd of well-wishers cheered him on. A big round of applause, all involved, for the rescue of our dear turtle-person friend. In Cosmic protection, may all animal-people on our precious planet be safe.

It’s time for the joke of the day. We hope you laugh so loud that you share the joy with your neighbors too! This one’s called “Horse or Zebra.”

A teacher asks a student in his class:

“Lilly, can you tell the difference between a horse- and a zebra-person?”

“Yes, Mr. Williams!”

“Which one is this?”

“That’s a horse-person!”

“Excellent! And which one is this?”

“That’s still a horse-person, Mr. Williams, but now he’s wearing my grandpa’s pyjamas.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Gloria in Mexico City, Mexico:

Dear Beloved Master and Supreme Master Television team, I am reporting with love from Mexico City. I have seen with pleasure the Supreme Master TV programs, and I want to thank You because it is a channel that I feel is the best in the Universe.

I log into Facebook, and I always show Your videos and teachings, spreading them to continue sowing seeds, spreading Your Heavenly knowledge. I have seen some very interesting responses, not as many as I would like, but I know it will bring them life.

With much Love and exemplary joy, You transmit to us knowledge gathered in Heaven, and with joy we see Your talks about the teachings of BUDDHA, to which You give joviality, joy and enrich them. What an outpouring of Love. You elevate us every moment, influence us with Your good humor, and delight us in such a beautiful way, that it leaves us with a pleasant feeling of PEACE and tranquility.

Master, we need You so much. The truth is that with Your spiritual presence, we have evolved a lot; an example is that in Mexico, there is a governmental program called “Sembrando Vida” (Sowing Life). In it, 700 million trees are being planted, with the participation of 450,000 people who are provided with the trees and the agricultural technique, as well as an economic incentive and follow-up to make it a reality, in an area of 550,000 hectares. It is benefiting 220,000 landowners, shareholders of common lands and communal farmers.

I want to express that I feel a great honor to be Your disciple. MASTER, I love You, and my golden dream is that on the day of my departing, You take me by Your hand to that promised land (New Realm). I have nothing more to share with You. I love You, I love You.

May the Highest Godses keep You healthy and full of dynamic energy, and may They keep that great joy of Yours which makes us laugh even in the solitude of our homes. Thank You, MASTER, I recognize in You the living God. Thank You for Your teachings. Thank You for Your Divine Light and that great Love that You give us. Amen. Gloria from Mexico

Happy Gloria, It was a delight to read your message. We rejoice that you are sharing Master’s Wisdom through social media. It also is gratifying to hear of the many environmental initiatives taking place in Mexico. The more trees planted on our planet, the better off we all are, because they provide vital oxygen and take in carbon dioxide as well as kindly give shade. Wishing you and the convivial Mexican people Heaven’s Light, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has these encouraging words for you in Her reply: “Shining Gloria, keep up your lovely positivity and actions to remind others of their noble spiritual heritage and Heavenly Home. May God bless you and vibrant Mexico, multifold. With all my Love and a big hug to you.”

“If a man kills living beings, or causes other men to kill them, or consents to their killing them, his iniquity will go on increasing.” ~ Sutrakritanga Sutra (Jainism)
