From the nudge of an elephant-person’s trunk to the warmth of a kangaroo-folk’s pouch, animal-people mothers show us that love and care are truly universal. This mama bear had no idea what a struggle it could be to get four little cubs across the road. She is trying to take all her cubs over to the other side but only one cub follows her. It seems like the entire family will make it, then this little diva decides to run back across and mama has to come running again.

The cat mother in our next video went to extraordinary lengths to get help for her precious babies. “Suddenly, a cat-person jumped into our car, carrying a kitten in her mouth. We were amazed by her determination. Her actions showed how much she cared for her babies. By the time she was done, there were six kittens in our car.”

Meet Ginger, the loving dog-gal who selflessly takes care of foster kittens. “She was pulled from the euthanasia list. When we had our first litter of kittens, I noticed that she was really interested in them. She would cuddle with them; she would keep them warm. She's helped me foster close to 200 kittens. We have not had a single kitten, who did not leave here completely trusting of dogs.”

This fierce mama elephant is protecting her baby that’s trapped in a muddy drain. She hits her head and is knocked unconscious. Now, the team of rescuers and vets need to save both mama and baby. The wildlife volunteers resume chest compressions while the baby nervously paces beside his mom. The bond between elephant-people is remarkable and thanks to these wildlife heroes’ hard work, this family could disappear back into the forest together.
