Heroic Animal-People: Part 4 of a Multi-part Series

We begin with Henry, the Boston Terrier dog-citizen who saved a human baby’s life. One night, after Kelly and Jeff Dowling put their nine-month-old daughter, who was sick with a cold, to sleep, Henry was exhibiting strange behavior and kept going into the baby’s nursery. This led Mr. and Mrs. Dowling to check on their baby daughter again, and they found her in a critical condition.

Up next is a brilliant cat-person hero, Fluffy, who saved the life of his 84-year-old human best friend. When Ron Williams was getting out of the shower, he slipped and fell, leaving him helpless on the bathroom floor. Because Ron lives alone, he usually wears an emergency device around his neck, but that day it was on the charger, and his phone was well out of reach. Luckily, Fluffy knew just what to do. “He’s my hero and he always will be.” In 2022, Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) lovingly presented the Shining World Hero Award to Fluffy the cat-person, plus US$1,000 for vegan goodies, with hugs, kisses and gratitude.

In August 2023, a farmer from Thailand captured the remarkable video of a black-winged stilt-mother courageously defending her nest from an oncoming tractor. As the tractor approaches the mama bird-person and her egg-filled nest, she spreads her wings and chirps loudly, pleading with the farmer to stop.

The final hero of today’s show is a cat-gal named Scarlett who risked her life to save her babies. “This is what Scarlett looked like after performing what might have been the bravest deed in the history of the animal kingdom. She rescued her five kittens one by one from a burning abandoned building that she called home in Brooklyn, New York.”

As a kind reminder to my human co-citizens, I share a message from Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) about the purpose of animal-people on this planet, and why it is essential to stop the torturous practices of animal-people raising industries, and exploitation of animal-people for clothing, testing, and entertainment, etc. “They are here to give. They are here to help us. This is another reason that we must be vegan. We must protect their lives because their lives are our lives. They’re here to balance the planetary atmosphere. They’re here to help heal us and heal the planet. We must protect their lives. We must act in a compassionate way.”
