In today’s news, Canadian charitable organization provides medical relief to Lebanon, global wildfires release record CO2 quantity in 2021, mini solar grids to be installed in Uganda to benefit rural villages, inventors in Britain create smartwatch app to protect women, young Indonesians remove waste to safeguard marine environment, Korean food companies look to serve growing vegan market, and Jenna the cow-person the star of United States animal sanctuary.

A great soul remembered.

On January 22, 2022, the Respected Most Venerable Thích Nhất Hạnh, an internationally renowned Buddhist spiritual leader originally from Âu Lạc (Vietnam) passed on at the ripe age of 95. He was responsible for introducing Zen Buddhism and the concept of mindfulness to many parts of the world through his organization, The International Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism, with monasteries in Europe, the United States and Asia. A vegan and staunch promoter of peace, in the 1960s, Thích Nhất Hạnh was actively involved in seeking to end the conflict that was ongoing at the time in his homeland. The compassionate monk was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for these noble efforts. He was an icon of paramount spiritual importance. We share our deep sorrow for the loss. May his soul rest in the forever Buddha Land.

Canadian healthcare nonprofit provides medicine to Lebanon.

Through funding from the US-based American Near-East Refugee Aid and Canada-based Cedars Union, Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC) has sent 82,000 treatments to Lebanon which will supply health facilities around the nation. The shipments include diabetes medication, analgesics, anticoagulants, medication for heart disease, antihypertensives as well as other treatments and personal protective equipment urgently needed by local partners. With two donations completed and two more in the works, the HPIC will have sent an estimated total of 340,000 medications with a value of US$2.3 million to Lebanon since the August 2020 explosion at the Beirut port. Further support for 2022 and beyond is now also being planned. Our sincere gratitude, Health Partners International of Canada and all the other compassionate people and organizations involved, for your collaborative, loving efforts. May the faithful Lebanese flourish evermore, in Allah’s infinite healing power.

Record amounts of carbon dioxide released in 2021 from wildfires.

Data from the European Union’s Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service has revealed that 1,760 metric megatons of CO2 entered the atmosphere this past year, largely due to fires in North America, Siberia, the Mediterranean region and North Africa. Fires in Canada, as well as California and the Pacific Northwest in the USA, were responsible for about 83 million metric tons of that CO2. This figure does not include the unprecedented wildfires that blazed during the 2021 Christmas season in the state of Colorado, USA. California also saw its largest blaze ever recorded, which burned almost 400,000 hectares. Such saddening news, that our planet’s fires continue to get worse each year. In the wisdom of the Providence, may we quickly reduce global greenhouse gas emissions, as we eliminate raising animal-people for food and replant the world’s beautiful forests. Vegan: cuz a real hero doesn’t kill the harmless.

Up next, mini solar grids to be installed in Uganda to benefit rural villages. We are going to thank the brand ambassadors, who are the face of a brand at marketing events or product demos, and are also responsible for building relationships with retail stores for better product placements. Please stay for more generous news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, gentle viewers, I’m Lara, a vegan environmentalist from the Ladybug kingdom. Peace emanates from my soul and creates a harmonious atmosphere around me because of my vegan lifestyle. Here is a caring tip for our precious Mother Nature when out camping. Did you know that vegetation like grass will not be able to grow as a result of trampling? That’s because the soil becomes compacted. Therefore, set up your tents and chairs on sand or gravel if possible. Please use existing trails to walk on in order to preserve the delicate vegetation. Thank you for tuning in, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather.

Mini solar electric grids to increase access to power in Uganda.

The European Union, the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and Uganda have commissioned the installation of 25 mini solar grids in Northern Uganda to provide electricity to remote regions. The project will be funded with €4.44 million in grants from the EU and GIZ, and United Kingdom-headquartered off-grid renewables company Winch Energy will install the systems across 25 villages in the Lamwo district. The mini-grids will supply energy to homes and businesses, provide street lighting, as well as enhance water services. The subsidized price per kilowatt-hour for the citizens will only be 29 US cents, which is the lowest in the world for such a system. Kudos, GIZ, the European Union and Winch Energy, for helping to increase access to green power in Uganda. In the grace of Heaven, may the happy Ugandan people be blessed with good fortune and health, as they rejoice in their actions of kindness towards all beings.

British inventors create smartwatch app to enhance women’s safety.

Epowar, founded by E-J Roodt and Maks Rahman, both students at the University of Bath in the UK, contains an artificial intelligence algorithm trained to monitor a wearer’s body motion and heart rate to recognize when the smartwatch wearer is experiencing distress. Alerts are then automatically sent by the app to the wearer’s list of contacts providing her location, a loud alarm sounds off from the user’s smartphone, and evidence is recorded and sent directly to the cloud. The creators are confident they are close to having a finished product and are currently in the development stage, which includes in-field testing. Great news, Epowar, on your project to help protect women. In Divine comfort, may the world soon be a haven of safety for all, as we evolve into a loving global society.

Young Indonesians come together to clean up marine debris.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic’s start, there has been an increase of waste present in rivers, oceans, and on the streets in Indonesia, particularly single-use masks and gloves. Swietenia Puspa Lestari, founder and Executive Director of Divers Clean Action (DCA), an Indonesian youth-led organization, has responded by developing strategies to reduce rubbish and promote sustainability, while prioritizing the health of the public. The initiatives include providing healthcare workers with mobile phone cases that can be disinfected and reused, urging the public to wear reusable face masks, and supplying resources to keep the masks sanitary. With over 1,500 volunteers across Southeast Asia, DCA runs various campaigns and training sessions that focus on marine debris issues. Thank you, Swietenia Puspa Lestari and Divers Clean Action, for your important Earth-conserving efforts. In Celestial guidance, may we create a promising future by taking responsibility for the planet we inhabit. Vegan: let’s reclaim our birth right as benevolent children of God.

Coming up, Korean food companies look to serve growing vegan market. Let’s take a few minutes to pray that our Earth continues to be protected and guided by the surrounding Divine power. We’ll return with more encouraging news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Joyful News for a Resplendent World.

Korean food companies expand plant-based offerings.

As the vegan population increases rapidly, many Korean food enterprises are creating vegan products for markets at home and abroad. CJ (CheilJedang) is introducing a vegan brand named PlantTable, and has debuted two types of vegan Bibigo Dumpling products made out of textured vegetable protein in Singapore and Australia. Leading tofu maker Pulmuone has developed various soy-based meat alternatives and is already supplying its offerings to the US market. Korean ramen and snack maker Nongshim plans to open its first vegan restaurant in Seoul, Korea. Furthermore, startup CellMEAT introduced a cultivated shrimp prototype, while Seoul National University and information technology company Space F has developed a cultivated pork prototype. Way to go, Korean food companies and researchers, for catering to the global vegan market. May your compassionate and tasty products succeed worldwide as vegan food soon becomes the new norm on our table, in Buddha’s benevolence.

Cow-person Jenna the heart of an animal-people sanctuary.

Life with Pigs Farm Animal Sanctuary is located in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA, and began when a mother pig-person named Pumpkin needed to be rescued. It is, however, a cow-person named Jenna who is, in many ways, the sanctuary’s leading lady. The founder, Ryan Phillips, rescued her at three-days-old to prevent her from being culled. Jenna and Ryan’s friendship grew into a heartwarming relationship. Jenna loves to spend time with her human friends, be read to, and listen to music. The darling girl greets Ryan each morning, and if he has to leave, eagerly awaits his return home. The bovine beauty even served as the best cow-person at Ryan’s recent wedding, and is an adored and loved family member at the sanctuary. You are gorgeous, Jenna, and a true ambassador for your species. May all cow-people everywhere be appreciated for their sensitive, loving nature, in Heaven’s grace.

Now it’s time to let the elixir of laughter lighten our mood with the joke of the day we have at hand, entitled “Aiming for Perfect.”

A teacher says to the student:

“What’s two and two?”

“Four.”

“That’s good.”

“Good? That’s perfect!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Theodore in Australia:

During group meditation at our Center, doing the (inner Heavenly) Light meditation, I saw Master towering high above me, Her feet were close to Earth, and Her eyes were gazing down from higher Heavens. I have seen this many times, with Light shining from Master’s eyes, sending me Her Immense Love. This day, I saw Master’s concern for the Earth as it was encompassed in a field of black energy. Then, enormous teardrops started falling from Master’s eyes. As they came towards the Earth, the black energy parted, and I could see the edge of our blue planet and a pillar of Light followed behind the teardrops. I could see Master was doing Her best to cleanse this energy away. As I came next to Master’s teardrops, I shed a tear and it fell from my cheek. Compared to Master’s teardrop, it was like a tiny drop, and Master’s tears were the size of many lakes. I then understood the changing of the World Vegan prayer meditation from once a week to every day. Every time Master’s teardrops made a hole in the black energy, it created a hole for Heaven’s Light to penetrate the Earth, especially at this critical time.

I pray more people will join in on World Vegan prayer so we can help more of Heavens’ Light to enter the Earth and dissipate this dark field of energy.

Thank You, Supreme Master Ching Hai. As an initiate, my life is beyond anything I could do with my mind or physically with my hands. Many of my dreams from when I was younger have come to me without any physical effort or complicated planning. I live in a beautiful place surrounded by natural bush and beaches, with a meaningful job that brings a better life to a special-needs person. I Thank You so much for letting me see miracles daily, just by meditating, following the precepts, and doing a few hours of Supreme Master TV writing, which is so rewarding and enriching to my mind and soul. I pray that Your tears will be rewarded with happiness and comfort with a vegan change to all people on the planet. Theodore from Australia

Caring Theodore, Our appreciation for sharing your gratitude through this heartline and relating your beautiful vision of Master’s loving Power. May All-merciful God bless you and the sensitive Australian people with friendship and compassion. In Universal Wisdom, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master replies with Love: “Graceful Theodore, I send you a big hug and am pleased by your diligent spiritual practice. In your meditation you have seen how dire the situation is for humankind. Encourage those in your circle to join in meditation and prayer each day for World Vegan. May you and the faithful Australian people be nurtured in Heaven’s eternal Light.”

Vegan: thanks 4 being wise.
