In today’s news, Japan boosts Iraq’s pandemic response with financial contribution, United States scientists find new tsunami risk for some highly populated areas with bays, Australian park saves bats from extreme heat using innovative cooling system, pioneering transplantation of re-animated hearts in children successfully performed in United Kingdom, Bangkok bus staff save exhausted dog stranded on busy highway, company in France produces vegan medicines, and Academy Award-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix reunites with cows he rescued.

Japan further supports healthcare in Iraq during pandemic.

In response to COVID-19, the Japanese government and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) are partnering to make urgent primary care in Anbar Province, Iraq, accessible through rehabilitating primary healthcare centers. Necessary equipment and furniture will be supplied to the health facilities. The initiative will benefit over 1.4 million people, including returnees, vulnerable individuals and internally displaced persons. His Excellency Suzuki Kotaro, Ambassador of Japan to Iraq, said, “Japan has decided to provide a new assistance package for Iraq amounting to US$50 million, including this project to be implemented by UNOPS.” Japan is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Generosity, and Animal Protection laureate. We applaud you, Japan and the United Nations Office for Project Services, for your loving generosity as well as thank you for your humanitarian and development work. May Allah’s love and blessings forever be with the fine people of Iraq.

Scientists discover new tsunami risk for some densely populated areas with bays.

Researchers from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, United States, and other institutions have developed a new computer model to help understand strike-slip faults near inland bays and the potential for tsunamis. A strike-slip fault is where large rocks along a fault line move horizontally past each other during an earthquake, creating massive shifts in water volume. Several highly populated coastal areas, such as the San Francisco Bay Area in the United States, the Gulf of Al-Aqaba in Egypt and Izmit Bay in Turkey, have such tectonic faults close by. After an intersonic earthquake, a tsunami could occur in these regions with little prior warning, thus causing devastating consequences. Our appreciation, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign researchers and others involved, for your study about the threat of tsunamis in such areas. We pray that all in these zones remain safe, in the Divine’s eternal protection.

Up next, Australian park saves bats from extreme heat using innovative cooling system. We’ll just take a little time to thank the car stereo installers, who install and repair the audio systems in our vehicles, including speakers and amplifiers, so that we can enjoy our favorite songs, lectures and podcasts while on the road. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more conducive news. Vegan = Love in Action.

Hi, sea-loving friends, how have you been? I’m Dean, the vegan Dingo cub. People say being vegan keeps you young and happy. Look at me! I’m the proof! Here is a videography tip for you. Want to know how you can take videos that don't turn out shaky and blurry? If you don’t have a tripod, the key is holding your smartphone camera steadily. Holding the phone with your arms extended away from your body increases the likelihood of swaying. If you lock your elbows into your body, there is increased stability. Setting your smartphone on a stable object is another good method for reducing shaking. Other pearls for taking quality videos include activating video stabilization settings if your phone has that feature, moving the camera slowly, and allowing the camera to adjust to new lighting. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Thank you for your attention, and here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.

Australian park trials cooling system that saves bats from heatwaves.

High temperatures in January 2020 resulted in an unfortunate loss of 220 of the estimated 30,000 grey-headed flying foxes living in Bendigo, Australia’s Rosalind Park due to heat stress. In response, an atmospheric cooling system, that turns on aerial sprinklers placed in trees when the temperature rises above 40 degrees Celsius, was implemented. Happily, the following year, no bat fatalities were recorded. The initiative was financed by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF)-Australia, the city of Greater Bendigo, and the Australian Department of Land, Water, Environment and Planning. Australia is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Good Governance; as well as a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Caring, Good Governance, Health Guardian and High Moral Value. Thank you, Rosalind Park, WWF-Australia, Greater Bendigo, and the Australian government, for your noble initiative to protect this vulnerable bat species. In the grace of the Providence, may all beings soon be safeguarded from climate-related disasters as humanity rapidly adopts the Earth-cooling vegan diet.

British doctors perform world’s first transplants of re-animated hearts in children.

Children requiring a heart transplant generally have to wait two and a half times longer for a suitable donor situation than adults. A new method of preserving previously stopped hearts is called re-animation. It uses Organ Care System technology to keep the donated heart warm, beating, and circulating with the intended recipient’s own blood while they wait for the transplant operation. This new approach has enabled six children in Britain to receive a replacement heart, and they also saw faster recovery times post-surgery. The procedure now means shorter transplant waiting times and is expected to save thousands of lives. Way to go, British doctors, on your remarkable technology and innovation to give functioning hearts to beautiful youngsters. In the blessings of the Divine, may your new technique soon be distributed internationally so more love-filled children can benefit.

Bangkok transit staff rescue dog stranded on busy highway.

Bus driver Tuen Prathumthong and conductor Noknoi Seedam rescued an exhausted dog on the busy Si Rat Expressway in Bangkok, Thailand. With the passengers’ agreement, the driver stopped the vehicle to allow the extremely tired canine, who had been frantically dodging passing traffic in the scorching hot weather, to come onboard. The dog was then safely brought to the Muang Thong Thani depot for food, water and to take a rest. Though both workers did not accept the monetary reward offered by Cookie’s relieved caregiver, they each received a certificate of merit and a cash award from their employer, the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority. Well done, Tuen Prathumthong and Noknoi Seedam, for your swift action in rescuing Cookie. We pray many others will follow your caring example. We also wish darling Cookie many happy and safe years ahead with his family, in Buddha’s love.

Coming up, company in France produces vegan medicines. We’ll pause for a moment to learn about the Palestinian Hikaye, a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, which is a narrative genre that tells fictitious tales of women and is narrated by women in small groups. More sharing news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Be an extraordinary leader = a vegan leader! Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Heart-warming News for an Optimistic World.

Company in France makes vegan pharmaceuticals.

Veggiepharm, founded by Luc Lamirault and Kévin Bondiguel in 2017, has started selling its line of vegan pharmaceuticals and food supplements. Currently, 70% of medicines on the market contain ingredients of animal origin, but the Veggiepharm founders state that it is very often possible to produce them in a vegan way. At the moment, the firm produces desloratadine, which is an antihistamine for allergies, and paracetamol for headaches and pain relief, along with a range of food supplements for different stages of life, all of which are available in pharmacies in France. Thank you, Luc Lamirault, Kévin Bondiguel and the Veggiepharm team, for making vegan medicines that help us and keep animals safe. In the mercy of Heaven, may your product range quickly expand as you create more animal-friendly versions of conventional medications.

Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix reunites with cows he rescued.

In the short documentary “Indigo” made by “Earthlings” director Shaun Monson, Joaquin Phoenix reflects on his reunion with the mother and calf he saved a year ago from a California, USA slaughterhouse. The animals now reside at a site run by Farm Sanctuary, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, in Acton, California. Mr. Phoenix said, “This simple act of rescuing Liberty and Indigo, these two cows, in some ways this is as simple as just sparing the lives of these creatures. But it’s also an acknowledgment of not only the destruction that they experience at our hands but the environment as a whole. By our actions, we either have the choice to continue to destroy other beings and the environment, or we begin the process of reversing the damage that we’ve done.” Our sincere gratitude and appreciation, Joaquin Phoenix, Shaun Monson and Farm Sanctuary, for your dedication and commitment to bring an end to the needless suffering of our animal friends. May your efforts help us to be victorious as we transition to a vegan world of kindness, in God’s love.

Let our joke of the day bring out gleeful sparkles from your spirit. It’s called, “Neighbor Favor.”

Little Ally knocked on the neighbor’s door one day and politely said:

“My dad asks if you could lend him your stereo system tonight?”

“Oh! Are you having a party?”

“No. My dad just wants to sleep.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Taman in Indonesia:

Dearest ULTIMATE MASTER, I have been initiated since March 2004. For the many Blessings, help and unconditional Love that You have bestowed upon me, thank You. I hope one day I can meet You in person. Once again, thousands of thanks for these Blessings of unconditional Love that You have given me. Best regards, Taman from Indonesia

Lovely Taman, Your deep gratitude to Master is truly touching.

Here is Master’s reply just for you: “Sincere Taman, you are very welcome. Master Power is always there to provide whatever help possible in both your spiritual and everyday life. Meditate sincerely and diligently to connect with your inner Master, who is always with you on your way back to your Heavenly home. May the Divine keep you and your great country of Indonesia safe and peaceful.”
