In today’s news, Qatar Red Crescent Society builds homes for displaced Yemenis, research suggests that lightning strikes may be responsible for starting life on Earth, Singapore plans eco-friendly city, Australian company uses sugarcane to make food packaging, young man saves students from drowning at beach in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, vegan protein smoothie now stocked at popular convenience store chain in United States, and Irish film star Evanna Lynch goes undercover to highlight extreme cruelty at an animal factory.

Qatari organization provides housing to internally displaced persons in Yemen.

The Qatar Red Crescent Society, a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, is constructing 224 homes in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, for 1,680 people displaced by conflicts and flooding. A part of Qatar’s humanitarian assistance program in Yemen, the approximately US$210,000 building project utilizes materials from the surrounding environment. The new homes are created with straw roofs and mud blocks with a solid structure to help shelter the residents from the desert dust and challenging climate. Our heartfelt gratitude, Qatar Red Crescent Society, for your compassionate support. May the displaced Yemenis soon be able to return home and be blessed by a future of comfort and abundance, in Allah’s abiding care.

New catalyst for formation of life possibly found.

Researchers from Yale University, United States, and Leeds University, United Kingdom, have concluded that lightning strikes may be mainly responsible for starting life on Earth, as opposed to a popular theory involving meteorites. For the creation of DNA and RNA, the building blocks of cells, bioavailable phosphorus is needed. This substance is inside nonreactive minerals on Earth but does not easily dissolve in water. Meteorites striking the Earth can bring it here in small amounts. When lightning touches certain clay-based soils, bioavailable phosphorus is also generated. The researchers say the amount of the element produced in this way would have far exceeded the quantity from meteorites. Thank you, Yale and Leeds scientists, for this investigation on how life might have begun. In Divine radiance, may we cherish all beings on our planet as we deepen our understanding of creation’s miracles.

Up next, Singapore plans eco-friendly city. We’ll just take a moment to thank the auto body painters who ready vehicles for painting, make cosmetic repairs and apply paint to cars for a touch up or to give them a different color. We’ll be right back with more forward-thinking news on Supreme Master Television. Be Veg, Go Green 2 Save the Planet.

Lovely viewers, how are you doing? It’s Cory the vegan Cuban Tody. My body thanks me every day. Do you know why? Because I give it only plant-based fuel. Here is a handy tip on how to keep your cat or dog from chewing on electrical wires. Unplug the electronics and wipe the cords down using a lemon wedge as animals dislike the taste of lemon and will avoid it. After the cords are dried, plug everything back in. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Thank you for watching. Now for the weather from around the world.

Singapore to establish smart city that incorporates nature.

Singapore is planning to create an eco-city called Tengah, the Malay word for “middle,” which has a 100-meter-wide forest corridor enabling wildlife to move freely between a water catchment site and nature reserve. The area will also have abundant green spaces throughout. Cars will traverse the town underground, and above-ground roads will be reserved for pedestrians and cyclists. There will be 42,000 homes within the region, as well as a business and high-tech industrial district next to it. It will be constructed on 700 hectares of land that previously served as a location for a brickworks. The goal of the project is to enhance residents’ quality of life, health and well-being. Way to go, Singapore. May your progressive endeavor inspire harmonious living with the natural world, globally, in Heaven’s splendor.

Australian entrepreneurs develop eco-packaging from sugarcane.

Australia-based company Grounded Packaging, founded by Ben Grant and Josh Kempton, has begun producing food packages from a plastic alternative called BioPE. The fully recyclable material, which is manufactured using sugarcane fibers, is carbon negative, as the product, including its lifecycle, creates less carbon than it absorbs. Furthermore, it boasts a lower cost compared to many other eco-alternatives. The company expects its Earth-friendly product to be price competitive with traditional plastics in the near future and helps reduce the latter’s massive burden on the environment. Great work, Ben Grant, Josh Kempton and Grounded Packaging, in developing this green innovation. In Celestial guidance, may intelligent, planet-conscious businesses help bring us closer to a thriving world.

Hero receives award for life-saving actions in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam.

Trần Văn Tròn has been honored with a Certificate of Merit from the town of Điện Bàn in Quảng Nam province for rescuing three drowning students. When walking on Điện Bàn’s Điện Dương beach, he heard four youngsters yelling for help. Without hesitation, Mr. Tròn jumped into the sea and saved three of them, but sadly, the fourth one succumbed to the rough water conditions. Nguyễn Xuân Hà, Vice Chairman of Điện Bàn town, said: “Mr. Tròn’s action was so brave; he sacrificed his own safety to save others.” Bravo, Trần Văn Tròn, for your selfless courage. We are so happy that the three young people were rescued and wish them a bright and joyful future. May the student lost in the waves be forever embraced in Buddha’s infinite light. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Hero Award to Trần Văn Tròn for your benevolent action, with all love and praise for your brave, caring spirit. May Heavens bless and shield you always.”

Coming up, vegan protein smoothie now stocked at popular convenience store chain in United States. We’ll pause for a moment to pray for the safety of the sick or injured stray animals so that they may recover soon and find forever homes. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more encouraging news. Vegan = Love in Action. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Helping News for an Elevated World.

Chain store offers vegan protein beverages in United States.

Convenience store chain 7-Eleven recently introduced Koia plant-based protein smoothies at 7,000 locations across the US. Three flavors are available, Cacao, Vanilla and Chocolate Banana, and each low-sugar drink contains 18 grams of protein. The release of the products happened after these items were top-sellers in the 7-Eleven Sips & Snacks That Love You Back initiative, where 25 new foods and drinks were trialed in Southern California stores, including plant-based pork rinds. Well done, 7-Eleven and Koia, on your smart partnership. In the gracious support of the Providence, may vegan food items become the first choice for anyone looking for healthy and compassion-filled nutrition.

Irish movie actress helps expose brutality at animal factory.

Harry Potter film series star Evanna Lynch and Veganuary and VFC founder Matthew Glover conducted an undercover investigation at a chicken factory in the United Kingdom. Ms. Lynch shared her horrifying experience of witnessing firsthand the suffering of 25,000 chickens helplessly crowded together. Their circumstances represent what 95% of these gentle animals must endure in the nation, while in the United States the number is at 98%. She wrote in her blog: “[I]t’s overwhelming. It’s chaos. So many bodies squashed together in one space... It’s impossible to fathom that each of these white feathered bodies are individuals... Nobody is heeding their cries of distress...” Our loving appreciation, Evanna Lynch and Matthew Glover, for your compassionate concern and spotlighting this inherently cruel industry. We pray that people’s hearts soon change and they adopt the benevolent vegan lifestyle for a brilliant world of kindness to emerge, in God’s mercy.

Now comes an unconditional joke for you, but you should laugh. It’s healthy! It’s entitled “Crossing the River.”

A traveler on a horse came to an unfamiliar river. He asked a boy on the riverbank if it was deep and he said no. The rider started to cross, but soon found that he and his horse had to swim. When the traveler and the horse reached the other side, he turned and shouted to the boy:

“I thought you said it wasn’t deep?!!”

“It isn’t. It’s only up to a duck’s belly!”

And now we have a heartline from Thanh Trang in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Dear Master, I saw a clip [on Supreme Master Television] and learned that Your vision is somewhat declining. I know a little about vision treatment, so I would like to send You some pictures with guidance so that You can do it Yourself. It is very effective. The points which I dotted on the face image are the acupressure points of the eyes. These points might be blocked and therefore, the vision is diminished. We need to free the blockage, then the eyes will be good again.

- Master can take a slice of lemon and rub the eye areas where these acupressure points are. Leave the lemon juice to be absorbed on the face for about five minutes, and then wipe it off.

- Next, please use a hot balm, a regular one (not the hot pepper balm), and rub it on these pressure points. You can press strongly on these points so that the blockage can be softened. (Normally, these points are deeply indented under the skin, and if they are blocked, You will feel much pain when pressing on them. You will not feel pain if they are normal.)

- Next, please cut a Salonpas patch into many small square pieces and stick them on the acupressure points. This will keep the points warm and slowly release the toxins inside.

- Please keep the Salonpas pieces on the points for about five-six hours. After taking off the Salonpas pieces, please do not use water to clean the face for two hours.

- You can do this twice a day, in the morning and at night.

- The pressure points are like drainage pipes. If there is a blockage inside the tube, wastewater can’t flow out, so it flows backwards. Our body is the same. When the acupressure points are blocked, the body can’t function well, and the eyes can’t see as clearly as before. I hope that my little knowledge can be helpful for Master’s eyes to be well again. I wish You to have great health – the world needs You so that it can revive. Thanh Trang from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

Informative Thanh Trang, Wow, what a wonderful tip for good vision! Thank you for sharing your knowledge to help Master. We deeply pray that Master will always be in excellent health and protected by all the Heavens and Divine Beings.

We rejoice to send you Master’s reply: “Thoughtful Thanh Trang, my appreciation for your caring concern and loving advice which is now copied and will be tried when time permits. Surprisingly, even such a small task like that needs to take second priority. I am touched and continue to pray that in Heaven’s Grace all beings will awaken soon to their true, compassionate nature. We will do our best to help the world as much as we can, as long as our body allows. May you and the gentle Aulacese (Vietnamese) people be blessed by Buddha’s boundless Benevolence.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline

Thank you for your presence on Noteworthy News. May celestial grace be your guiding light.
