China supports food security in Gaza.

The government of China pledged US$1 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to provide vital food assistance to over one million Palestine refugees in Gaza as part of the Agency’s 2020 Emergency Appeal. The funds will also help to ensure food distribution facilities are sanitized and implement safe distancing in the wake of COVID-19. Furthermore, frontline workers will be supplied with personal protection equipment. This is the third consecutive year China has contributed to the UNRWA. China is a Shining World Leadership Award for Wise Governance recipient and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Wildlife-Protection and Compassionate Protection laureate. Many thanks, China and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. May your generous efforts bring much stability and comfort to Allah’s precious children, in Divine goodness.

Study finds 1.9 million square kilometers of ecosystem lost in 13 years.

A team of 17 researchers from six countries used satellite imagery to evaluate human impact on land-based ecosystems. They found 58.4% of the Earth’s land was under “moderate or intense” pressure from human activity. Their report revealed that between the years 2000 and 2013, the amount of wilderness land lost was equivalent to the size of Mexico. The majority of this occurred within savannahs, tropical and subtropical grasslands, and shrubland ecosystems, while rainforests in Southeast Asia also experienced devasting declines. Lead researcher Brooke Williams, PhD candidate at the University of Queensland in Australia, stated, “Proactively protecting Earth’s intact ecosystems is humanity’s best mechanism for protecting against climate change, ensuring large-scale Ecological and evolutionary processes persist, and safeguarding biological diversity into the future.” Our gratefulness, all researchers involved, for providing this critical information. In Heaven’s mercy, we sincerely pray for all to heed the advice of scientists and take urgent action, starting with the low-emissions vegan diet to safeguard our treasured Earth.

Up next, United Kingdom study determines cleaner air quality saves numerous lives. We’ll just give thanks to talent scouts for using their keen observation skills to find individuals who have exceptional talents to share with the world. Hi happy friends! It’s Gil the vegan Giant golden-crowned flying fox! Do you want to be beautiful inside out? Be vegan and your beauty will radiate! Here is a dog tip for you. It is crucial you clean the area around your dog’s eyes, as it can accumulate dirt and dust that can obstruct the tear ducts and lead to infection. To clean the hardened residue around your pup’s eyes, apply warm water, canine eyewash or saline solution on a clean washcloth to moisten the region. Let the liquid sink in for a few minutes to soften and loosen up tangled hair, dirt and debris. Next, wrap gauze or a soft cloth dampened with saline solution around your finger to gently clean off the dirt and discharge from the eye, moving your finger away from the eye. If your canine friend has long hair around the eyes, try using a small flea comb to softly remove the debris. For dogs like this, regular trimming of the hair around the eyes is important. Remember to give your loving companion a yummy vegan treat when you’re done! Big love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around our beautiful globe.

Improving air quality in the United Kingdom could save lives and boost the economy.

A recent analysis by the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), a nonprofit representing UK businesses, found that improved air quality across the UK could prevent the mortality of 17,000 individuals per year. The study was commissioned by the Clean Air Fund, an international philanthropic organization dedicated to overcoming air pollution. Furthermore, the analysis reported that by following the air quality guidelines set by  the World Health Organization (WHO) a resulting decrease in employee illnesses and sick days taken would add three million working days annually in the UK, as well as enhance its economy by £1.6 billion. Many thanks, CBI researchers and Clean Air Fund, for providing this important information. May all nations realize that a pristine world will benefit our societies in countless ways, including protecting cherished citizens and our precious Earth, in God’s splendor.

Scientists create low-cost method to produce power at night for solar energy users.

Dr. Shanhui Fan and co-researchers from Stanford University in the United States have developed an off-grid, rooftop radiative cooling system to generate electricity at night. Their method uses thermoelectric power generation, which creates electricity by converting a temperature difference into an electric voltage. The team’s device accomplishes this as heat being emitted through the roof of the house passes into colder air. Their computer simulation predicts that their design could generate 2.2 watts per square meter, which would be enough to power security or environmental lights or sensors. They are working on advancements that would help power homes in developing or rural areas. Our accolades and applause, Dr. Shanhui Fan and team, for your ingenious idea. In Heaven’s light, may more such innovations be available around the world to improve lives for a brighter and happier future.

Taxi app for people with reduced mobility introduced in Brussels, Belgium.

The Brussels taxi sector and campaigners for enhanced mobility and accessibility have developed a phone app, Handycab. Available in iOS and Android, it will bring participating taxis in the Brussels-Capital Region to the same platform, making it faster and more convenient for those with mobility limitations to make reservations for transportation. The app emails the trip itinerary to customers, with easy payment option choices, and has a 24/7 service desk. To join the platform, the taxi driver is required to complete a training course on accessibility concerns, follow a quality charter, and keep a kit in the vehicle to ensure adherence of social distance and hygiene rules. Kudos, Brussels taxi sector and campaigners, for your laudable collaborative work. May your endeavor inspire more initiatives to assist people with reduced mobility, in the love of the Providence.

IKEA in Japan expands vegan food choices to protect the climate.

As part of the company’s plan to enhance its sustainability work, IKEA in Japan recently introduced seven new plant-based menu items. These include katsu curry, which contains a breaded soy fillet with curry sauce and rice, stuffed cabbage rolls, vegan cheese dogs, chocolate mousse and more. The vegan version of their Swedish meatballs, made from pea protein, potatoes, apples, and oats, became available in October, and this popular offering has also been launched in IKEA restaurants in the United States, Australia and Singapore, soon to be followed by Dubai. Such encouraging news, IKEA, on the spreading of your delicious vegan fare to more nations around the world. Wishing you all the best with your ongoing green goals, in Heaven’s goodness.

United States sanctuary promotes equality and kindness.

Since its inception in the 1980s, Animal Farm Foundation (AFF) has been training rescued dogs and providing them at no cost to assist people living with disabilities. AFF seeks to educate people on breed equality by choosing the sometimes misunderstood pit bulls for the service dog program. Located in New York State, the sanctuary is also a safe haven for retired farm animals, including cows and horses. It hopes to increase awareness of the cruelty of livestock factories through its visitors’ interactions with the amazing animals. AFF’s Executive Director Stacey Coleman asserted that animals are here to teach us, saying, “If we can’t be kind to the animals that we share a life with so closely, …how can we ever learn to be kind to each other?” Our heartfelt appreciation, Animal Farm Foundation. In God’s benevolence, may we treat all beings with love and respect in an inclusive and caring society.

When you laugh, your soul is dancing, and your heart is smiling. Let’s take a moment to enjoy the joke of the day called, “The Dean's List.”

“Hey, Dad! I’ve got some great news for you!”

“What, son?”

“Remember that $500 you promised me if I made the Dean’s List?”

“I certainly do.”

“Well, you get to keep it.”

And now we have a heartline from Ali Imran in Pakistan:

Hallo, dear brothers and sisters, I wish and pray that you are all safe from the coronavirus. This is a time when we should help each other; we should check around us to see if anyone needs our help. This is a time when the word HUMANITY matters. I wish Supreme Master Ching Hai good health. I respect and always appreciate Supreme Master Ching Hai’s work for humanity and the animals. Love for the Lovely Supreme Master Ching Hai. Love to you all from Pakistan. Ali Imran, President, Noble Aims Welfare Association (NAWA), Pakistan

Caring Ali, Thank you for your heartline. Our gratitude for reminding us during the COVID-19 crisis about our noble human attributes that are befitting the children of God. We appreciate the Noble Aims Welfare Association’s charitable deeds for the underprivileged. In 2009, in response to your organization’s request, Supreme Master Ching Hai kindly provided US$70,000 for displaced people, including those in the Mardan Refugee Camp in Pakistan. Our Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association members worked with you to bring the residents food and daily essentials.

Also, our Association members partnered with you in 2010, to distribute food and other needed items as well as offer medical care to 2,000 families who were flood victims. Master had contributed US$115,000 for our Association’s overall disaster relief activities for the devastating floods in Balochistan and Sindh provinces. Thank you for all your loving assistance. Recently Master also donated around US$4 million to help victims of COVID-19 around our world, including US$150,000 for Pakistan. She is ever so sorrowful for this disaster upon humanity, and asks all to pray or meditate for World Vegan, so that the benevolent energy would alleviate our fellow beings’ suffering. Please join us every Sunday at 9 pm Hong Kong time. Thank you. We pray that the graceful Pakistani people remain safe and healthy during these challenging times. In the compassionate guidance of Allah, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master also said: “Beneficent Ali, your organization has compassionately helped many disadvantaged persons in Pakistan. Please continue your good work.
