Cat-person-, downward-dog-person, and elephant-person stretches – these yoga moves are awesome self-maintenance practices if you are a regular gardener. Here are some more good posture gardening tips for you. One of the most common complaints after a day of working in the yard is back pain. To avoid it, start out by warming up with few simple stretches and walking a lap around the garden. The point is to relax tight muscles and get your blood flowing prior to jumping into the project. As you pull weeds, shovel dirt, or rake up leaves, maintain good posture by keeping your back in a more upright position to help prevent unnecessary stress on your spine. Problems start when you hunch over ‒ this flattens the natural curvature of your spine and puts weight on single disks or vertebrae, especially in your lower back. Keep movements smooth and avoid sudden reaching motions or extreme twisting of your body. You can keep your back pain at bay by breaking up your work routine and performing one task for 20 minutes and then changing to another one. This prevents aches and pains that result from holding or repeating one position for an extended period of time.

Now, it’s time to fill up your happiness tank by enjoying the following joke. It’s entitled “Second Thoughts.”

An 85-year-young woman decided to take up skydiving. After she attended the training classes, the day came for her first jump. Strapping on a parachute, she stood awaiting her turn to leap out of the plane. But when she looked at the ground below, she lost her nerve. Finally, she reached into her pocket, pulled out a small transmitter and radioed her instructor on the ground:

Help! Heeeelp! I’ve gotten up, and I can’t fall down!

?!

And now we have a heartline from Hữu Nghĩa in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam
