For our next performance we have a vegan Italian soprano, known as one of the best classical singers in the world, Ms. Giorgia Fumanti. With her angelic voice she will sing “Praised Be the Providence” a poem written by Supreme Master Ching Hai with music composed by Oscar and Emmy Award Winner, Bill Conti. “Praised be the Providence! Thanks to Earth and Heavens To invisible and visible beings For the grace bestowed upon Supreme Master Television May this forever be blessed To serve the world for her peace and happiness Thank you, all the circle of friends, Of brave staffs, whose love and dedication Have brought joys to countless beings In this life and maybe the next! Thanks to all who share the bliss And support this positive program From the depth of my heart May God bless you!”

Our next special speaker is an award-winning speaker, educator, musician and best-selling author of “The World Peace Diet,” Dr. Will Tuttle.

“When we look into animal agriculture, we see massive, relentless and unnecessary abuse of animals. And from this, questions of social justice, harmony and spirituality emerge. […] We pay others to kill and imprison animals. It’s not only harming the people who do the work, it’s harming ourselves and our culture. […] Researchers have found that slaughterhouse workers have higher arrest rates, and have been found to commit increased levels of domestic violence and child abuse. So, we should think of these workers that pay the price for our actions when we take out our wallets and we vote for animal foods. […]

In all the major religions there are similar principles, such as ‘Do unto others which you would have them do unto you’ and ‘Thou shalt not kill’ as well as ‘ahimsa’ which is nonviolence towards sentient beings. If the world’s religious leaders would teach this and adopt a more vegan diet, then more people would be inspired to adopt the vegan lifestyle.

I’d like to end here with a quote from Supreme Master Ching Hai from Her book that reminds us of how spirituality uplifts a vegan and how uplifting a vegan diet can be. She says this: ‘Be Veg to show love as well to your family, your pets, your friends, and your enemies and extend this love to all the world’s co-inhabitants at large. Even to the trees, the plants, the flowers, the stones, the pebbles, just being vegan alone automatically after a few days or a few weeks, you’ll feel something change in you. Your own loving nature will flow effortlessly like a spring ‒ a spring of love. You’ll be more able to receive the love and blessings from the sun, the moon, the stars, and from all of nature and our co-inhabitants. And the animals will suddenly truly look like friends and neighbors. So beautiful, friendly, intelligent, and loving. Then it is very easy for you to love them and extremely difficult to ever dream of harming them again, even indirectly or consuming animal flesh.’”
