In today’s news, partnership between United States and UNICEF is extended, United Nations warns of global water scarcity, supermarket chain in Australia allocates grants to organic farmers, Swedish steel factory uses hydrogen to melt iron ore, teenager in India promotes water conservation, Italian fashion company introduces vegan leather sneakers, and cow gains freedom and a forever home in California, USA. All this and more on Supreme Master Television, your constructive global network.

UNICEF receives renewed commitment of support.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has pledged up to US$300 million over the next five years to the United Nations Children’s Fund. To be appropriated annually, the funding continues a longstanding partnership between the two organizations for improving the plight of disadvantaged mothers and children. UNICEF’s emphasis on providing access to clean water, sanitation, health care and education gives kids a better chance of a fulfilling future. The US government is its most generous national donor. The United States is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 24 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. Thank you, the United States and UNICEF, for your continual support of vulnerable children. We pray that your efforts will enable substantial and sustainable improvements to their lives, in Divine mercy.

Droughts could be the next scourge afflicting Earth.

In June 2021, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) released its Global Assessment Report on Drought. The publication examines how water scarcity could affect the health and well-being of humans and ecosystems. Mami Mizutori, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for UNDRR, explained during an online press briefing, that a drought in one part of the world could indirectly affect other areas through food shortages and rising prices. The UN anticipates that droughts will be more frequent and severe in southern Europe, Africa, Central Asia, southern Australia, the United States, Mexico, as well as Central and South America as the atmosphere gets warmer. The United Nations is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership Award for Humanitarianism and two Shining World Leadership for Lives-Saving-Hero Awards. Our sincere gratitude, Ms. Mizutori and your entire Disaster Risk Reduction team, for raising awareness of our climate emergency. In Heaven’s abundant grace, may humanity avert pending dangers and suffering by embracing the vegan solution.

Up next, supermarket chain in Australia allocates grants to organic farmers. Let’s take a moment to thank the school nutrition professionals who recommend plant-based menus to help students excel in the classroom and beyond. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more rewarding news. Vegan side effect: luck an joy will search 4 you.

Hey, amazing viewers! I’m Poppy, the vegan Przewalski’s Horse. My friends say that I uplift the energy and mood wherever I go. That’s because I’m a happy vegan. Brighten up your surroundings by going vegan too! Here’s a simple recipe for making summer rolls. You’ll need a package of rice paper wrappers, an assortment of vegetables and a dipping sauce. Start by slicing things like cucumber, carrot, fried tofu and pineapple into matchsticks. Also, prepare some crunchy baby greens, avocado slices, blanched green beans or bean sprouts, and cilantro or mint. Dip a wrapper in a shallow bowl of warm water for a few seconds until it loses its stiffness, then set it on a countertop. Place small amounts of your ingredients in the center and finish it like a burrito. Fold in two opposite sides of the rice paper, bring up the bottom to cover the filling, and then roll to the top. Some people like to dip their summer rolls in a peanut sauce, while others prefer vegan hoisin sauce. The keywords to remember are experiment and have fun! Thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

Organic growers get funding to boost production.

Woolworths is Australia’s largest supermarket chain with 995 stores across the country. In 2018, it established an Organic Growth Fund for fruit and vegetable farmers who want to go organic or increase their existing organic output. Recently, Red Plateau Organic Produce in New South Wales received a grant worth approximately US$373,000 to help recover from firestorm damage and the loss of many avocado trees. Bon Accord Organic Citrus in Queensland obtained about US$261,000 to expand its orchard and buy new equipment. In both instances, the Organic Growth Fund is investing in the future of domestic organic produce and giving these growers assurances that many stores will buy from them. Our delighted applause, Woolworths and fortunate farmers, on your win-win program. May the financial support lead to abundant harvests of nutrient-rich crops and a healthier Australian population, in Celestial jubilation.

Auto industry leader seeks to reduce its carbon footprint.

Volvo Cars and SSAB of Sweden have partnered to manufacture automobiles with carbon-free steel. Traditionally, coal has been the fuel to melt iron ore at steel mills, but the process generates excessive carbon dioxide – more than 3 billion tons in 2020. At its experimental steelworks called HYBRIT, SSAB has replaced coal with green hydrogen produced by electricity from wind farms and hydro dams. Volvo will purchase enough new steel to start building concept vehicles in 2021 while SSAB ramps up for mass production in 2026. Way to go, Volvo Cars and SSAB, on your exciting collaboration to reduce CO2 emissions and upgrade Sweden’s transportation sector. We pray that other countries will follow suit and remove coal from their energy mix, in the light of the Providence.

Civic-minded youth on a mission to save lives.

In India, as the population grows and temperatures rise, water is becoming scarce. Rishabh Prasobh saw ponds drying up in Bengaluru and wanted to learn about solutions. After participating in a United Nations training initiative, the resourceful adolescent had an idea. He began by installing a faucet aerator at his grandmother’s house. Because the device restricts water flow while regulating the perceived pressure, the woman’s next water bill was 30% less than before. This success encouraged Rishabh to recommend using flow restrictors at the building where he lives, two Marriott International hotels and his school. By the end of one year, the budding conservationist was responsible for saving 7 million liters of water. What a remarkable achievement, Rishabh Prasobh! Your pure heart and bright mind are helping to lay the foundation for a peaceful and prosperous future, in Heaven’s tender mercies.

Coming up, Italian fashion company introduces vegan leather sneakers. We will take a moment to remember the billions of animals that perished during Australia’s bushfire crisis. We pray for the elevation of their souls and the awakening of humanity’s consciousness. More heart-warming News when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: having trouble finding bad thoughts. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Caring News for an Elevated World.

Luxury fashion house debuts animal-free leather.

Gucci, based in Italy, spent two years developing a new, eco-friendly material named Demetra. It consists of plant-based polyurethane, viscose and wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests. The company says it uses a zero-scrap production process, and all wastewater is recycled. For summer 2021, Gucci launched its first collection of sneakers to use the novel textile – the Gucci Basket, Gucci New Ace, and Gucci Rhyton styles. The vegan shoes also incorporate organic cotton, reclaimed steel and repurposed polyester. In the future, Demetra will replace leather in Gucci handbags, apparel and accessories, as well as be made available to other companies. Kudos, Gucci, for leveraging your know-how to create vegan footwear and other products for the emerging golden age. We look forward to seeing a wholly sustainable approach to fashion as people aspire to tread more lightly on our shared planet, in the loving grace of the Providence.

Bovine receives reprieve and a new life.

When someone left a gate open, and about 40 cows escaped from a slaughterhouse in Southern California, USA, most were quickly rounded up. But one was on the run for two days and covered more than six miles before she was found. Fortunately, award-winning songwriter Diane Warren and animal rights activist Simone Reyes successfully petitioned the owner and the city of Pico Rivera for the animal’s freedom. Ms. Warren, a vegetarian, and Ms. Reyes, a vegan, arranged for the cow to become a resident at Farm Sanctuary, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, where she will spend the rest of her days. Our hearts are touched, Diane Warren, Simone Reyes and all others involved, for rescuing one of our frightened and innocent co-inhabitants. In elevating Divinity, may your exemplary actions kindle society’s collective compassion so that all animals may live in peace.

When you laugh, your heart is smiling and your soul is dancing. Let’s lighten up with a joke called, “Foggy Daze.”

Lucy and Fred had been married for 50 years and were still very fond of each other. They noticed, however, that they were becoming forgetful, so they decided to go for a checkup. Their doctor advised them to start writing things down so they wouldn’t forget. Later, at home that evening:

“Honey, would you please get me a bowl of vegan ice cream? You might want to write it down.”

“No, I can remember that. You want a bowl of vegan ice cream.”

“Would you also add some vegan whipped cream for me? I think you better write it down.”

“No, no, I can remember. You want a bowl of vegan ice cream with vegan whipped cream.”

“Oh, one more thing. Would you put a nice cherry on top too? If you’d like, I’ll write it all down for you.”

“It’s OK, Lucy, I got this. You want a bowl of vegan ice cream with vegan whipped cream and a cherry on top.”

So, Fred went to the kitchen but was in there so long that Lucy fell asleep in her chair. When Fred finally returned, he handed his wife a plate of vegan fried eggs with vegan bacon. Confused, Lucy stared at the plate for a moment, then looked at her husband and asked:

“Where’s the toast, Fred?”

And now we have a heartline from disciples in Mongolia:

Dear The Most Beloved Master and Supreme Master TV team, With Master’s Grace and Blessings, here in Mongolia people are more and more aware of the consequences of meat-eating and are turning to the vegan diet. There is lots of social media promotion to teach people how to cook vegan meals as well as the spiritual and health benefits. For the first time ever, a shelter for stray dogs has been created, and lots of young people do charity work at the shelter. Also, there is a “horse nursing home” established by two initiates. They rescue horses from slaughterhouses and provide them with a permanent home at the nursing home. Many people appreciate this initiative and give donations so that they can save more horses.

Dearest Master, we, Your Mongolian disciples, love You very much and will always be there to support Your noble mission on this Earth, to guide humankind to be more loving and spiritual and not to harm our co-inhabitants, the animals. There are about 1,000 people joining in World Vegan prayer with Master every day, including initiates, their family members and friends, and also people who respect Master. We pray that Master always remains healthy and strong, and Heavens surround Master with protection. Love and care! Your Mongolian disciples.

Dedicated Mongolian disciples, It was a pleasure to read your heartline. Great work! Your diligent efforts, meditation, and prayers appear to be reaping rewards, as witnessed by the positive changes happening in your magnificent country. May the Light of the Buddhas bestow upon you and the compassionate Mongolian people much peace and happiness. In Universal Love, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. We rejoice to send you Master’s reply: “Precious Mongolian brothers and sisters, thanks for your tireless support, love, and well-wishes. My gratitude embraces you all in a big, Loving hug. May Heavens rain down miracles, granting you and your co-citizens your highest noble wishes.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
