School nutrition program in Iraq to be expanded.

The Iraqi Ministry of Education and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) will be increasing the reach of Iraq’s national school feeding initiative. The four-year plan will eventually allow 3.6 million children to have greater access to meals at school by 2024. This year, 264,000 vulnerable students received meal assistance across 11 districts in Iraq. In 2020, schools involved in the program had a 97% attendance rate of students and a 99% retention rate. The meals are sourced from local businesses close to participating schools, thus benefiting small businesses and enhancing work opportunities in the area. Our bountiful thanks and appreciation, United Nations World Food Programme, Iraqi government and partnering organizations. May Allah’s boundless light shine on the talented, noble Iraqi children for all time to come.

Study finds 91% of victims are civilians when explosive weapons used in cities.

A report published by the United Kingdom-based non-profit Action on Armed Violence concludes that from 2011 to 2020, at least nine of the ten people killed or injured by explosive weapons in populous areas globally were civilians. Appallingly, the use of bombs and shells have caused over 262,000 private citizens casualties during this period. To urgently mitigate the devastating impact of explosive weapons on civilian lives and livelihoods, the assessment urges governments to commit to an international ban on their use in populated areas, including towns and cities. Many thanks for the vital report, Action on Armed Violence. In Heaven’s gentle embrace, may all children of God treat one another with kindness and goodwill in a peaceful world.

Up next, United Kingdom seeks to safeguard and restore nature nationwide. We’d like to thank the considerate sunscreen producers, who are making their products safe not only for our skin but also for the coral reefs. Please stay for more significant news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: The world is more beautiful for your eyes!

Hi, selfless friends, it’s me, Nanda the vegan Mandrill! You can be the change you are waiting to see. Just go vegan – for yourself, the animals and the planet! Here’s a quick computer tip for today. If you accidentally close an internet browser tab you didn’t mean to on your computer, there’s a shortcut to open up the last closed tab. Just press Ctrl + Shift + T simultaneously and the last tab that you had closed will reappear. Moreover, if you keep pressing this sequence of keys multiple times, the last several closed tabs in your browsing history will conveniently pop up! Thank you for tuning in, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around the world!

United Kingdom endeavors to restore and protect nature.

The UK government has promised to take various steps to support the environment and amend a law so as to legally bind England to “halt the decline of nature” by 2030. Selling peat compost to gardeners in England will be outlawed by 2024, and 35,000 hectares of degraded peatlands will be revived within the next four years. Healthy peatlands have three times the carbon-storing capacity of forests, while damaged peatlands emit carbon into the atmosphere. Tree planting will also increase, with 7,000 hectares per year to be planted by 2024. Other measures include helping native animal species, such as beavers and wildcats, to be reintroduced in rural areas. The United Kingdom is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership for Caring Award, Shining World Wise Leadership Award, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Animal Protection and Kindness. Way to go, noble United Kingdom, on your comprehensive plan to safeguard and increase your beautiful natural surroundings. In the blessings of the Divine, may your actions help bring about a rising abundance of plants and wildlife throughout your lands.

Self-driving truck delivers produce across states in United States.

Autonomous vehicle company TuSimple has recently transported watermelons from Arizona to Oklahoma using a self-driving truck. Two people in the truck operated it at the beginning and end of the trip. Other than that, the truck drove itself for over 1,500 kilometers. Contributing to this success was the truck’s use of light detection and ranging, or LiDAR, technology sensors developed by Australian tech firm Baraja. TuSimple says that the advantages of autonomous trucks include enhanced safety, fuel efficiency and faster delivery, as well as being able to help address the current shortage of truck drivers across the US. The firm plans to continue testing throughout this year and roll out its driverless fleet in 2024. Great work, TuSimple and partners! May technology like this bring further convenience and ease to communities worldwide, in Celestial upliftment.

Migrants in Paris, France, learning fashion design.

The Reprise Project provides training to asylum-seekers from Afghanistan and the Middle East currently residing in a center in a southern Paris suburb. They are creating fashionable men’s garments from used clothing. The project is a partnership between the migrants and French fashion students, who endeavor to soon provision professional sewing machines and material for the trainees. One of the participants, Bagher Husseini from Afghanistan, hopes his design of a pair of baggy jeans with fringed patches can be showcased on a French runway later this year. Such a promising initiative, the Reprise Project! It is very heart-warming to know that migrants are being given the training and opportunity to learn new skills in a new country. May people across the globe love and value each other without consideration of borders, in Heaven’s delight.

Coming up, Indonesian startup launches Asia’s first whole-cut vegan steak. We will take some time to be grateful for modern synthetic clothing technology that keeps us warm throughout the year. We’ll return with more enhancing news on Supreme Master Television. Vegan side effect: Difficulty in hiding bright aura.

Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Supporting News for a Compassionate World.

Asia’s first whole-cut vegan steak debuts in major Indonesian steakhouses.

Jakarta-based vegan startup Green Rebel recently launched Beefless Steak, made of soy protein and shiitake mushrooms, at two of Indonesia’s largest steakhouse chains: 29 locations of ABUBA Steak and at over 50 Pepper Lunch outlets. Offering the brand’s new plant-based delight at or below the price of their animal-derived counterparts, ABUBA Steak has introduced eight vegan and vegetarian menu items featuring Green Rebel’s Beefless Steak as well as its new Chick’n Steak, made from soy protein. Pepper Lunch features Beefless Steak in two menu items. Within its first eight months of operation, Green Rebel has sold its various meat alternatives in over 50 stores and 500 food outlets, including Starbucks Indonesia. Exciting news and bravo, Green Rebel, for helping to spread veganism in your nation! May your tasty plant-based products continue to enjoy much success as more and more individuals adopt the diet of compassion, in Allah’s infinite blessings.

Maine becomes sixth US state to ban sale of animal-tested cosmetics.

The Governor of Maine, the Honorable Janet Mills, signed the act, prohibiting the sale of cosmetics that have been developed or manufactured using animal testing, into law on June 10, 2021. The bill was sponsored by Maine state representative, the Honorable Vicki Doudera, and becomes effective starting November 1, 2021, which is World Vegan Day. Violators will be liable for a fine of US$5,000 initially and thereafter US$1,000 per day. Maine joins California, Illinois, Nevada, Maryland, and Virginia in passing similar legislation, with Hawaii soon to follow. Our immense gratitude, Governor Mills, State Representative Doudera, and the citizens of Maine. May your noble example of compassion for the animals help lead the way for an entire ban on animal testing the world over in the love of the Providence. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion to the Government of Maine, with high salute and appreciation for this step to defend the helpless animals. May God bless you and your co-citizens with abundant wealth, joy and wellness in this ethical and wise direction.”

We want to chill you out with a laugh with a joke of the day entitled, “Good Question.”

“Daddy, why is the Red Sea called red and the Black Sea called black?”

“Uh… Sweetie, can you ask me something else?”

“OK. How did the Dead Sea die?”

“?!”

And now we have a heartline from Si-Wing in Hong Kong:

Beloved and respected Master, the Master to whom I’m very much indebted. If it were not for Master’s great Love and Compassion that gave me the initiation and led me to the path of liberation, I think I would still be following the conventions of society, busy with work and daily life, and would have done countless ignorant things. Once Master mentioned that She would not mind even if we forget Her, as long as our souls could all go to the Higher Realms. But Master, no matter where my soul will be, I’ll never forget You. I pray for the help of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to let me always remember You and let me be forever grateful to You. Whatever we do in this life, including the so-called helpful things to the world, they are nothing compared to what Master has done for all beings and the Universe, life after life. Master, I sincerely pray that Your Holy physical body stays safe and healthy, that You’re protected each and every moment, and that You’re having a smooth retreat through which You will gain perfect achievements. Meanwhile, I am grateful to all great souls for their loving care for the Earth. May humankind awaken and change as soon as possible; may a vegan world be realized without any further delay. Respectfully with joined palms, Si-Wing from Hong Kong

True Si-Wing, We thank you for expressing your warm feelings and gratitude as a disciple of our deeply loved Supreme Master Ching Hai.

Master has these loving words for you: “Blessed Si-Wing, fear not, Master Power will never leave or forget you either. I send a great big hug and my thanks for your dedicated practice that empowers you to be guided by your inner Master and leads you to ever-increasing freedom from the constraints of the material world. Much Love and may Heaven’s joy bring peace and serenity to you and the strong people of Hong Kong.”
