In today’s news, European Union provides humanitarian aid to Ethiopia, paper urges environmental peacebuilding for nature preservation in conflict areas, international experts recommend natural treatment to restore impaired sense of smell after COVID-19 infection, Indian coal firm transitioning to solar energy production, Northern Irish man supports suicide prevention hotline by completing over 8,000-kilometer walk, biggest Australian supermarket chain expands vegan selection, and celebrity goose in California, USA brings happiness to humans. All this and more, on Supreme Master Television, your constructive global network.

European Union (EU) provides €53.7 million to Ethiopia for humanitarian needs.

The contribution will assist conflict-affected people in the Tigray region of Ethiopia and those experiencing climate shocks with enhanced food security, shelter, and essential services such as water and health. The displacement in Tigray has been due to internal conflicts, inter-community tensions and political instability in the area since last November. Ethiopia is currently hosting close to 770,000 refugees from other African countries who will likewise benefit from the assistance. The relief aid will also help meet the urgent needs of other vulnerable Ethiopians. In 2020, the EU contributed more than €63 million to humanitarian partners in Ethiopia. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Our heartfelt appreciation, European Union, for your continual support of Ethiopians in need. May Heaven bless them all so they may soon thrive again.

Conservation report urges environmental peacebuilding in conflict zones.

A new paper by the International Union for Conservation of Nature(IUCN) reveals that an estimated 219 animal species, such as elephants and the critically endangered Eastern Gorilla, are threatened by “war, civil unrest and military exercises.” The publication concludes that armed conflicts detrimentally affect nature and its resources, thus fueling further violence and that governments should advance peace and nature conservation simultaneously. It recommends that wildlife preservation and effective natural resource management continue in unstable regions to mitigate strife. Furthermore, international agreements and laws should establish safety measures for protected area staff and sanctions against those destroyers of the environment during a conflict. Many thanks, International Union for Conservation of Nature, for your important report. May we treat all beings with respect and kindness to secure a better future for humanity and Earth’s biodiversity, in the Divine’s eternal bliss.

Up next, international experts recommend natural treatment to restore impaired sense of smell after COVID-19 infection. We’ll just pause to thank the jewelry polishers, who clean and polish precious jewelry pieces made of gold, silver or platinum, including those with gemstones, to enhance their beauty and attractiveness. We’ll be right back, with more alleviating news on Supreme Master Television. Be Vegan, Make Peace.

Hallo, nice friends, I’m Fae the vegan Growling Grass Frog! Want to look like a movie star? Adopt a vegan diet, and you’ll look like a million bucks! Sometimes it’s hard for small children and some senior citizens to keep a straw in place while they are drinking. To solve this issue, get a piece of plastic tubing with a diameter that will fit a reusable straw and cut it to the proper length. Next, run the straw through it and then glue the tubing to a clothespin. This will ensure the tubing will be in the correct position once the glue dries. After the glue sets, remove the straw. When needed, clip the clothespin to the cup and then put the straw through the tubing. Now they won’t have to worry about chasing the straw around their cup! Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now, the weather around the world.

Researchers recommend natural method to restore impaired sense of smell after COVID-19 infection.

An international team of experts is calling on doctors to prescribe smell training to people who have experienced the long-term loss of smell due to COVID-19. Currently, some physicians are prescribing steroids to treat the issue, but they have not been proven effective and can have side effects such as high blood pressure and mood swings. With smell training, however, the patient must sniff four distinct items, like oranges, coffee, or mint, twice per day for a few months, and the brain rewires itself to solve the issue using neuroplasticity. Thank you, researchers, for your practical advice on how to restore the sense of smell in a natural way after a COVID-19 infection. In the grace of the Providence, may all people experiencing long coronavirus symptoms find solutions to quickly regain a normal state of health.

Indian coal company closes mines for solar power focus.

The world’s largest coal company, state-run Coal India Limited, has announced plans to invest US$812 million as part of the government-run coal enterprise NLC India Limited’s US$1.73 billion total investment in upcoming solar projects. The venture endeavors to produce 3,000 megawatts of power in India by 2024. The decision came as Coal India recognizes the need to transition from unsustainable to renewable energy resources in the long run. Coal India shut 82 mines between 2017 and 2020 and will keep closing small mines and refrain from opening large ones. What an awesome decision to go green, Coal India Limited and NLC India Limited! In Heaven’s wisdom, we pray all companies will quickly embrace environmental care and protection as part of their business models for a brighter future.

Seventy-year-young Northern Irish gentleman publicizes suicide prevention hotline by walking 8,000-plus kilometers.

Fleming Keery of Carryduff, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, recently reached the milestone by walking 20-27 kilometers daily in his small town. The mental health advocate sported a brilliant orange-colored jacket on every walk, with the “Lifeline” name and phone number imprinted on its back. This organization is a government-funded helpline for people in Northern Ireland experiencing distress or despair. Mr. Keery said, “I walk to show people that they are not alone and they can get help.” Commenting on the individuals spoken to while on his walks, the kind gentleman said, “The greatest gift to anyone is sharing your time, and you don’t have to wrap that gift up.” God bless you, Mr. Fleming Keery. Our gratitude to Lifeline and all other such lifesaving services. In God’s loving support, may we all extend a caring heart to others during their lonely or desperate times.

Coming up, biggest Australian supermarket chain expands vegan selection. We’ll just take a moment to thank our animal companions for teaching us how to overcome our fears – through loving actions and kindness. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more healthy news. BE A HERO = BE VEGAN (=SAVE THE WORLD). Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Valuable News for a Friendly World.

Largest supermarket chain in Australia adds new vegan offerings nationwide.

Woolworths recently added six new vegan products to most of their 1,000-plus grocery stores across the country. The new range will include three plant-based meats: Chicken Skewers, Pork Ribs and Tender Beef from the PlantAsia brand, as well as three vegan cheeses: Shredded Cheddar, Parmesan and Cheeseburger Sauce from Made With Plants. The new items come as Australia’s grocery sales of plant-based meat alternatives have grown by 46% between March 2020 and 2021, with 200 such products now available nationally. Way to go, Woolworths, for giving consumers more animal-free options and PlantAsia and Made With Plants, on your fantastic range of vegan foods. In the radiance of the Divine, may a deep love for all beings blossom within the hearts of the world’s citizens so we may soon manifest a vegan world.

Celebrity goose in California, USA, brings joy to locals.

A Chinese goose named Louie has resided at Lake Miramar in San Diego for 15-plus years. According to a park concession worker, nearly 100 people ask for Louie’s whereabouts every day. One local resident, Mindy Dreiserd shared that Louie has helped her overcome a huge challenge in her life. She visited him daily for four years when she struggled with alcoholism and depression. “He’s been the reason I’ve been sober. He makes me happy,” said Ms. Dreiserd. Louie’s unconditional love was reciprocated in 2019, when Ms. Dreiserd noticed he had respiratory issues. She created a GoFundMe page to pay for his treatment by the San Diego Humane Society, which cured him with antibiotics. Wow, we can feel the immense delight you bring to people, Louie! May Heaven continue to guide us to follow a path of loving and caring for all beings.

How about a good laugh to enhance your face, it’s called, “Future Singer.”

“Later, if I become a singer, you will be my bodyguard, won’t you?”

“No!”

“Why?”

“One or two people, I can handle, but if the entire audience gets angry, then I can’t.”

?!
