In today’s news, Yemen receives vital aid from Austria, United Nations warns of worsening acute hunger in 20 hotspot countries, electric trucks to be mass produced in Australia, natural medicine production expands in Iran, former student in United States helps homeless teacher during the pandemic, vegan burger from Czechia wins favorite product, and initiative in Philadelphia, United States launched to keep migrating birds safe.

Austria offers much-needed funds to Yemen.

Through its Foreign Disaster Fund, the Austrian government has pledged a €3 million donation to help Yemeni people with humanitarian support and protection, as 80% of the citizens are currently in need. The financial aid will be given to the International Committee of the Red Cross to sustain its life-saving work in the nation. Austria’s Vice-Chancellor, His Excellency Werner Kogler said, “More than two million [Yemeni] children under the age of five suffer from acute malnutrition. ... Aid from Austria is vital for survival.” Our warm thankfulness, the Austrian government and the International Committee of the Red Cross. We pray for the loving Yemeni people to soon have peace and dignity, in Allah’s elevating grace.

United Nations cautions of worsening food crises in urgent areas.

As reported by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Food Programme, millions of people across more than 20 countries face severe food insecurity during the next few months. The countries seen to be most at risk are Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, northern Nigeria, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Yemen and Zimbabwe. According to the analysis, the deteriorating circumstances are primarily a result of climate instability, conflict, COVID-19, and desert locust swarms. The organizations have requested US$5.5 billion from donors to ensure urgent food and nutritional aid as well as monetary and livelihood support. Thank you for the report, United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and World Food Programme. In Divine benevolence, may we join our efforts to safeguard the wellbeing of our vulnerable brothers and sisters.

Up next, electric trucks to be mass produced in Australia. We’ll just take a moment to thank the theatrical agents, who represent talented performers in business matters and help find fitting opportunities for them. Will return with more pleasant news after these messages here on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, Earth-loving friends, it’s Christian the vegan Caribou. Our world is transforming for the better and you can too. Just be vegan! Here is a safety tip for you. Research has shown that smoke detectors save lives. If your smoke detector is not working properly, it’s likely due to empty batteries. Many people are unaware that smoke detectors are constantly running, which means that they should change the batteries regularly. It is crucial to replace the batteries immediately after you hear a warning beep indicating that the battery is low. Manufacturers suggest changing the battery at least once yearly. To be extra cautious, you could replace the batteries twice a year. Thank you for tuning in. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. And now, the worldwide weather.

Electric trucks to be mass-produced in Australia.

United States-headquartered SEA Electric is now producing their own innovative, zero-emission trucks on a large scale, to sell at 15 dealerships across Australia. Built with the company’s patented drive power system, the SEA 300 and 500 e-vehicles offer a travel range of up to 300 kilometers and can be charged at their own warehouse or fast charging stations. They also fulfill various trucking needs, from refrigerated food delivery to garbage disposal, while helping these industries reduce their pollution. The company has a goal of mitigating over 1.1 million metric tons of CO2 in the next five years. Great work, SEA Electric. May cleaner vehicles eventually be used in all sectors worldwide, in the wisdom of the Providence.

Herbal medicine production expands in Iran.

The number of permits granted to produce herbal and natural products increased to over 3,700 in Iran during the last decade, representing a tenfold growth. Meanwhile, imports of the same category of items declined by 85% over the past Iranian calendar year, which ended on March 20. The nation now farms medicinal plants across approximately 188,000 hectares of land, with saffron accounting for the largest portion of its exports. In addition, plant-based medicines comprise 4% of the total amount of medicines used in the country. Excellent news, Iran, on your flourishing production and interest in natural health products. In Celestial light, may the wise people of Iran be blessed with vibrant and joyous lives.

Former student raises funds for homeless teacher during pandemic.

On his way to work every morning, Steven Nava from Fontana, California, United States, noticed the same elderly man sleeping in his car with all of his belongings. The man turned out to be his former high school substitute teacher named José Villaruel. Having been unemployed ever since schools switched to virtual learning, Mr. Villaruel only received a monthly social security check, which he most often sent to his severely ill wife living in Mexico. Steven gave Mr. Villaruel US$300 and helped him find a hotel. The kind student also set up a GoFundMe page and shared the story on social media. In response, many community members including former students, county employees, and the sheriff’s department all joined in to help. The mayor’s office also organized a party at a community center on Mr. Villaruel’s 77th birthday, where he received a US$27,000 check of support. Our joyful applause, Steven Nava and everyone involved. Thank you for your loving example. May all the good teachers like Mr. José Villaruel have the care we owe them, in Heaven’s love.

Coming up, vegan burger from Czechia wins recognition. We’ll pause for a moment to appreciate the cool refreshing breeze that brings a pleasant change in the weather. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more friendly news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Thoughtful News for a Caring World.

Czech vegan food tech company wins recognition.

Heaven Labs’ beef-like ManaBurger was recently voted the nation’s favorite vegan product. The poll was conducted by Rostlinně, a project which supports food producers, restaurants and supermarkets in launching new vegan items. The tasty burger is made from a range of healthy ingredients such as proteins from algae, pea and hemp, and has added vitamins and minerals. The ManaBurger is currently available through Heaven Labs’ Czech, German and US e-shops and will soon be sold across all Czech retail supermarkets. Congratulations, Heaven Labs, on your exciting success. In God’s delight, may more companies help people shift to the plant-based way with healthy and delicious products.

Initiative in Philadelphia, United States launched to protect migrating birds.

Sadly, hundreds of millions of migratory birds of different species lose their lives in the U.S. each year from colliding into brightly lit buildings. A major cause of this is light pollution, which disorients them and interferes with their ability to navigate using the moon and stars. Gradually since 1999, businesses, building owners and tenants have joined to make cities safer for birds by lowering their properties’ light intensity at night. To date, conservation groups have set up local “lights out” programs in dozens of U.S. cities. Most recently in Philadelphia, a coalition called Bird Safe Philly has announced its own initiative, called “Lights out Philly,” encouraging high-rise apartments and businesses to dim or turn off their outdoor lights during migration times. Our standing ovation, Bird Safe Philly and all others who are part of this considerate, lives-saving movement. May all our avian friends around the globe be safe, in the Divine’s mercy.

And now we have a joke of the day to relax your mind. It’s called, “Celebrity.”

Uncle George asked his little niece Fiona if she’d like to join him for a concert of a very talented celebrity singer.

"So, what do you say, little Fiona? Would you like to come? Do you know what a celebrity means?"

"Yes! A celebrity is someone who works hard all their life to become known and then wears dark glasses to avoid being recognized."

And now we have a heartline from Carri in Australia:
