In today’s news, United States supports Ebola response in Congo, Kiribati benefits from clean water project, Japan advances in clean energy production, natural coating developed to extend shelf life of produce, inspiring boy raises money to help others, Dutch company introduces plant enzymes that enhance vegan milk beverages, and Indonesia welcomes birth of baby orangutan.

United States, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, supports efforts to contain Ebola outbreak in the Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Through the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the US contributed an additional US$23.4 million to help control the spread of the deadly Ebola virus in the Eastern DRC and neighboring countries. The purposes for the funding include training health care staff, improving disease surveillance, preventing the virus’ spread in health centers, and partnering with local organizations to hold community awareness campaigns. On June 25, the two-year Ebola outbreak, which had cost 2,280 lives, was declared over. Unfortunately, however, earlier that same month, a newly identified strain of the virus was found to have caused another outbreak in western DRC. Our appreciation, United States, and prayers for the affected people In Heaven’s grace, may all zoonotic plagues disappear permanently, as we turn to the safest and lasting solution: the vegan diet.

European Union supports clean water project in Kiribati.

The European Union, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring laureate, has donated €6.25 million for improved access to water, sanitation and hygiene for people living on remote islands. The initiative, which is congruent with Kiribati’s development plan, Vision 20, will be administered by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in partnership with the Government of Kiribati. The project consists of an educational component concerning clean water, hygiene and sanitation practices, as well as establishing and repairing relevant infrastructure and enhancing community resilience. These measures are especially important now during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our sincere gratitude, European Union. Your concern for our Kiribatian brothers and sisters fosters harmony and happiness on our planet, in Divine light.

Up next, Japan advances in clean energy production. We thank the rubber goods production workers, who make a variety of useful items, ranging from household goods to parts for machines, out of natural and synthetic rubbers. We’ll be right back with more gladdening news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, radiant viewers! I’m Maggie the vegan Mandarin Fish. I turn heads since I turned vegan, you should too, then we’ll be a good pair! I have a tip to share with you. There is a quick and easy way to peel and enjoy ripe fruits like kiwi, mango or avocado. Just use a knife to slice it in half. Then slide the half-fruit over the edge of a glass cup to smoothly take off the peel. Then, you can neatly eat out of the glass with a spoon or fork. Thank you for tuning in, and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now the weather around the globe!

New solar plant opens in Japan.

Solar power producer Sonnedix Japan recently began operating a 32.9-megawatt solar farm in Iwate prefecture on Honshu island. It is Sonnedix’s second-largest photovoltaic project to begin operating in Japan this year, bringing the country’s total solar capacity to 133 megawatts. Electricity produced by the plant, which the company financed, will help power an equivalent of approximately 13,200 households and reduce 19,200 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually. Sonnedix expects to create another 83 megawatts before 2021 as it strives to become a solar industry leader and contribute to Japan’s clean energy transition. Great job, Sonnedix Japan. May Heavens watch over conscientious Japan and our ever-improving world.

California startup develops plant-based coating to make fresh food last longer.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, is one of the financiers of Apeel Sciences, a startup from California, United States that has created an edible coating for food made from fruit and vegetable compounds. It can be sprayed onto fresh fruits and vegetables to make them retain moisture and avoid oxidation. This could greatly help reduce food waste and address world hunger, both serious global issues. The coating’s formula is adjusted for each specific food type, which ranges from oranges to asparagus. The shelf life of avocados sprayed with the coating has been extended by weeks and are already being sold at major US supermarkets such as Costco and Kroger. Thank you, Apeel Sciences, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and other investors. In this time of food shortages, may such good inventions be widely applied as we cherish all nourishment given by the sacred Earth.

Courageous five-year-old boy walks to raise funds for hospital.

Tony Hudgell of Kent in southeastern England, United Kingdom, has walked a total of 10 kilometers on his new prosthetic legs with the help of crutches, raising over £1 million for Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Tony decided on the fundraising challenge after finding out about centenarian Captain Sir Tom Moore, a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, whose own walkathon and noble appeal raised millions of pounds for UK’s National Health Service. The benefiting hospital had saved Tony’s life when he had suffered extreme abuse as an infant. He was then adopted by Paula and Mark Hudgell. Ms. Hudgell said, “Even though Tony suffered so much at the start of his life, today he is a bright, happy and confident little boy, who loves life. And we could not be prouder of him.” Your spectacular accomplishment and indomitable spirit moves us to tears, Tony Hudgell. May you, your loving parents, and devoted staff at Evelina London Children’s Hospital always be showered in God’s abundant blessings. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Tearfully present the Shining World Compassionate HERO Award to Tony Hudgell, and a US$10,000 contribution in loving support of your noble effort, with a big hug and gratitude. May Heaven forever grace and shield you, your family and all involved, in Divine benevolence.”

Coming up, Dutch company introduces plant enzymes that enhance vegan beverages. We’ll pause for a moment to send a prayer for those who are experiencing trying times, to find solace in God. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more rejuvenating news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Informative News for a Knowledgeable World.

New enzymes optimize plant-based drinks.

Royal DSM, a Dutch-headquartered global bioscience company, developed its own DelvoPlant enzymes to help producers of rice, oat and other vegan drinks improve the taste, sweetness and “mouthfeel” of their products without added sugar. In addition to the enzymes, Royal DSM has developed a number of plant-based complementary products such as Quali vitamins and premixes to help manufacturers create better vegan yogurts. Way to go, Royal DSM, on your excellent achievement that is bringing evermore plant-based wonders to people. In Divine jubilation, may more companies likewise take actions to accelerate our world’s necessary shift towards the vegan diet.

Indonesia welcomes birth of baby orangutan.

Susi, a female orangutan who was rescued, rehabilitated and returned to the wild in Indonesia, recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl, named Sinar by the country’s Minister of Environment and Forestry, the Honorable Dr. Siti Nurbaya Bakar. Formerly kept in captivity, Susi was rescued in 2011 by governmental agency Natural Resources Conservation Agency of West Kalimantan and nonprofit International Animal Rescue (IAR) Indonesia. After five years of rehabilitation, Susi was returned to the protected Gunung Tarak forest, and her progress has been monitored by a team from IAR Indonesia and the Gunung Palung National Park. Significantly, Sinar’s arrival brings hope for the future of her critically endangered species. The Gunung Palung National Park and the Natural Resources Conservation Agency of West Kalimantan are Shining World Compassion Award laureates and the IAR Indonesia is a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, for their compassionate work rescuing orangutans. Congratulations on your beautiful baby, Susi. Our heartfelt thanks, Indonesia and all collaborating entities. May we treat all our co-inhabitants as irreplaceable, for a kinder world and thriving biodiversity, in Allah’s embrace.

Laughing is healthy for your mind and heart. Enjoy this joke of the day called “Hibernation.”

Barry the bear just started his hibernation. After some time of no sleep and seeing that his friend Benny was already asleep, he said to himself: “I know better than to have a cup of coffee after October!”

And now we have a heartline from Lu-Ye in China:

In summer, the insects started to move around. On the mountain path, there were two small ants walking one after another. The one behind just followed the one in front, and the front one walked slowly to lead the way. After walking for a while, the one behind did not keep up. Finding it had lost its companion, it searched around and around. I thought it would lose its companion. But when the front one noticed its partner had not followed, it stopped. The one behind was very anxious. After circling a few rounds, it met its companion again. Meeting each other again, they moved forward together. Although insects are small, they can also sense each other and possess the good qualities like us human beings. In the boundless universe, people, like animals, are extremely small. May people calm down their minds to discover the beauty of the world, to find their own greatness, and to respect the life of every animal. I have great appreciation of the beauty in the world, and deep gratitude to Master. Wishing Master a healthy and safe life. Lu-Ye from China

Respectful Lu-Ye, Thank you for sharing your observations about some of the smallest ones on our beloved Earth and reminding us to admire and honor the little ants. May you and resourceful China be blessed with peace and harmony as you walk the enlightened path. In Celestial Love, Supreme Master TV team P.S. Master said: “Benevolent Lu-Ye, we indeed can learn so much from our animal co-inhabitants and their inherent Divine nature. World Vegan would manifest right now if humanity realized the sacredness of all life. May the compassion of the Buddhas be upon you and shining China.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
