The European Union (EU) and Spain have provided €28.5 million to help the National Cash Transfer Programme, which works in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Social Development, to assist at-risk households families in the West Bank and Gaza. Both the European Union and Spain have long-held commitments to the Palestinian population. Spain donated €1 million of the funds while the European Union gave the remaining €27.5 million, which is more than double the EU’s usual contribution benefitting 111,000 households. The donations were particularly welcomed after the COVID-19 pandemic and recent unrest in Gaza. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. British researcher finds the ability of the earth’s atmosphere to clean itself is impaired.
A British researcher Dr, Ingrid Cnossen, recently wrote a paper explaining that the capability of the earth’s atmosphere to cleanse itself of space debris is hindered by the increasing amount of carbon dioxide (CO2). While this causes the lower atmosphere to heat, the upper region where satellites are located is cooling and thus shrinking. The paper highlights how the effect will increase in the coming decades, meaning an even larger amount of space debris will remain above the earth, potentially damaging functioning satellites and harming beings on the planet. Like carton boxes, big or small, can be used in many ways to tidy up your space and storing things like clothes, etc. Plant kitchen scraps to harvest fresh vegan food again. Research to see how others do it. Then you can invent new ways to reuse all can-do items. Also, it is good for saving money and the environment!! Even those plastic/carton cups, after a party, can still be used to grow seeds/sprouts. The plastic bags for bread still can be filled with soil to grow veg such as lettuce, by hanging them on a fence, for example, if there is no garden available. Any spare room, garage, or outer wall can be used for growing food, now that our world is at high risk of food shortage due to war and climate change. Enjoy the new healthy and useful hobby. Australian state releases draft plan that will end logging of native forests.
The state of Western Australia recently released an over US$50 million 10-year forestry transition plan that will end the logging of native woodlands. The document is now open for public review and, if enacted, will preserve another 400,000 hectares on top of the 1.6 million hectares already protected. Forest management activities such as thinning will still take place, and funds will be invested in the State’s sustainable softwood timber plantations to ensure jobs are preserved and the local construction industry has sufficient materials. Indonesia commits to improving clean water access.
Indonesia has set aside US$1 billion to invest in constructive projects to help its citizens in their effort to gain access to clean water. Having secured the funds from local and foreign investors, Indonesia’s state fund management firm, PT Danareksa Persero, will help manage and build several water access facilities in the country without straining the national budget. The state fund’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Arisudono Soerono, further underlined that 80% of Indonesians do not have access to clean drinking water and have had to rely on water delivered in jerrycans that cost a lot more. Kimberly Estrada was delighted to roll her way in her special cart with other children walking or running in a fundraiser for the Phoenix Children’s Foundation. The young girl was born with polymicrogyria, which affects brain development. Despite her challenges, Kimberly is exceeding expectations and loves her ongoing rehabilitation at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Kimberly also derives great joy from watching her older sister Kaylee run around. Their mom, Stephanie Estrada. said she can see in Kimberly’s eyes how much the young girl would love to walk. New research reveals plant-based vegan meat alternatives are healthy and nutritious.
A recent study from Unilever and Wageningen University has demonstrated, using the Digestibility Indispensable Amino Acid Score (DIAAS), a UN Food and Agriculture Organization measure of protein quality, that processed soy protein has a little higher nutritional quality than whole soybeans. Soy protein concentrate, commonly used in vegan meat, is processed to remove constituent fat, carbohydrates, and fiber from soybeans. Furthermore, the study found that most soy-based products scored high on protein quality, suggesting that the extrusion of plant proteins not only creates the fibrous texture of meat substitutes but also enhances their nutritional quality. Ukrainian (Ureignian) woman sheds tears of joy when reunited with her dog-person companion, Jack.
K9 Global Rescue group found the beautiful dog-person on the other side of the village in Kherson. Jack had become frightened by the Russian shelling and ran away. His family had been looking for him for a month. When K9 Global Rescue brought Jack home, he was happily embraced by every family member. The elderly woman hugged one of the rescuers and said, in English, “I love you.” to which the rescuer replied, “This is why we do what we do.” Jack is one of the fortunate animal companions who have been safely returned home due to the efforts of animal rescue groups. Congrats, lucky Jack! We wish you beautiful years ahead with your beloved ones. Saying “Love” is a little bit abstract and hard to understand. It is better if we call it the vibration of the (inner Heavenly) Sound or the Quan Yin Method, which Supreme Master Ching Hai bestows on us.
Every day, we connect directly to Her when we are doing the (inner Heavenly) Sound meditation. Her words are the vibration of the (inner Heavenly) Sound, or the vibration of Love, and She teaches us according to our individual level of purity and enlightenment. Therefore, whatever every being thinks, She will know, whether they are disciples or not. Whatever is good to each being, then this power will appear right away to protect that being. Her Love Power pervades the entire Universe, so when we follow the Law of Love, we absolutely are loved, absolutely are protected. And that is the Law of the Universe, because the only way the Universe can operate is because of the vibration of Love. Master created all things through Love, and She nourishes all the beings with Her Great Love. And it is true what She said, “Love is the greatest law in the Universe.”
