Lunar New Year, or the Spring Festival according to the lunar calendar, is a happy time of greeting the coming of a new year and a new spring with families and friends. On January 25, 2020, our Association members united at the New Land Ashram in Taiwan, also known as Formosa, to celebrate the 2020 Lunar New Year. Together, everyone enjoyed an array of colorful cultural programs, ranging from drumming, singing, dancing to comedy, and conversations. Although Supreme Master Ching Hai couldn’t attend personally, She sent a loving message to all. In our series of programs, we will present this joyful event. Let’s start with Part 1. "We have a special blessing from Master: 'Dear Noble Souls, wishing you a new start this year with all the best for you, your loved ones, and the whole world. I will be in a retreat for a few weeks, as per necessity. So, we’ll see you after that. All love and blessings in Heaven's forever grace. Yours most sincerely, Supreme Master Ching Hai.'" "Now with a joyful and inspired heart, let us enjoy the songs, dramas and dances presented by our Quan Yin family members for an auspicious and blessed new year." "The first performance is the festival drum performance. The sound of the drum seems to urge us to gather together and share the good news." "Let’s come quickly to enjoy the glorious light from the New Heaven. The whole universe is cheering to welcome this wondrous gift. Let’s give a big round of applause for the 'Joyful Festive Drumming' performance." "Wow! Thank you for such a thrilling performance. We thank Master for patiently elevating and leading us so that we become fearless vegan warriors, follow in Master’s footsteps and advance toward a new paradise of love and peace."
