Here is a useful gardening tip for you! Did you know you can use onion peels as a fertilizer in organic gardening and farming? To make this organic fertilizer, you will need to collect onion peels, which are commonly used in the kitchen, in an eco-friendly bin or bag. Start by taking three to four handfuls of onion peels and adding them to one liter of water in a container and then cover it. Let it sit in the shade for 24 hours during the summer. Increase this duration to 48 hours in the winter. Next, strain the water-onion mixture and save the liquid portion— this will last up to 10-15 days. Feel free to compost the solids in the garden directly. When you are ready to use this organic liquid fertilizer, dilute 100 to 200 milliliters in a liter of water and add this to irrigation water or use it in the form of a spray. Apply as much as needed by the plant. If your tomato leaves turn yellow, you can treat them with this fertilizer. Light spraying seedlings weekly will assist in speeding up flower formation and should result in increased tomato yield. This method will also help improve microflora in and around the plants.

Now, it’s time to let laughter bloom as the joke of the day has just arrived. It’s called, “Don't Worry.”

A mom and her 8-year-old son are at the airport to catch a flight to Los Angeles. After they had a delicious lunch at a famous vegan restaurant at the airport, they still had 5 minutes left before the gate closed for their flight. Then, suddenly, mom realized that she had left her bag in the restaurant. So, the mom told her son anxiously:

“Son, I need you run back to the vegan restaurant to check whether my bag is there. Now, hurry before the gate closes!”

There was still 1 minute before the gate closed, and the son came back empty-handed. However, he said gleefully:

“Mommy, don’t worry, your bag is still there!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Anousheh in Iran:

Hallo, my Dear Master, I would like to thank You very much for all the things You are doing now, and have done in the past, and the things You will do selflessly and lovingly. Words cannot express the most profound love I feel for You, and the immense inner feeling of humility and humbleness for all the sacrifices You have done. Since the vessel of my heart is small and cannot bear all this love, I have to shed tears to express such love. On behalf of myself and all humanity, I apologize to You for all the evil things and bad karma we have created. In an inner experience, I realized how insignificant I am compared to Your endless Being and Your Holy Infinite Spirit. I wish I had a little bit of Your Love. I ponder how You managed to live for years with utmost humility and simplicity in the harsh cold, snowy and icy winters only in a tent with a thin blanket and also tolerated the intense heat of hot summers. You have endured thousands of dangers, bitterness, illnesses and pains to comfort others, and You have repaid the karma of our folly by having so much hardship inflicted on Your tender Being. I am being brief, but wherever I go, I have You in my heart, and whatever I do, I remember You. I cannot do anything but pray for peace, the awakening of humanity and the salvation of souls, and for health, happiness and comfort for You, my Dear Master. May Your Love and Your smile last forever.

I present to You this poem by Hafez (a Sufi poet of our land):

“Morning breeze, its fragrance will exhale

The old world will once again youthfully sail

Tulip will bring a red cup to the meadows

Narcissus’ eyes from poppy will grow pale

When would the Nightingale put up with such sorrow of separateness

In the chamber of the rose, cry and wail

Hold dear all the flowers and enjoy them

For as soon as they come to the garden they are gone”

Your humble disciple Anousheh from Iran

Tenderhearted Anousheh, We thank you for sharing these loving thoughts.

Master wrote this reply for you: “Precious Anousheh, you have more than just a small piece of my Love for I give this freely without restraint nor measure. Know that you are in my heart always. As I thank you for your caring words, I recognize the suffering in so many countries all around the globe, including Iran. If people would change and become vegan, all this could be eliminated, and it pains me greatly that such a simple, compassionate solution is disregarded. Hafez’s poem is beautifully composed. I continue to pray that the world may yet be enlightened and that you and the loving Iranian people may know peace and joy by the infinite Grace of Allah.”
