I have a cooking tip on how to get the most life out of your organic cauliflower! Cauliflower can be safely frozen for a maximum of eight months. It is recommended you blanch it prior to freezing it to preserve the quality and flavor. Start by placing the cauliflower in boiling water for two minutes. Take it out and leave it in a bowl of iced water for two minutes. Then drain it and cut it up. Put it in a freezer bag, taking care to eliminate any excess air prior to sealing. Place it flattened in the freezer and use within the next several months. What's great about cauliflower is, it's nutritious and can be used in a wide range of dishes.
