“The sixth time, I instruct all of you. When the planet Venus is out of its orbit, come quickly and join Me! Ask for help on the NAN YUE, and you will be saved from calamities.”

In our previous episode, we learned how one of our Association members was shown by the inner Master that he had been Wen Shi, also known as Yin Xi, in a past life. As a disciple of Master Lao Tzu, Wen Shi sincerely requested the Master to articulate the wisdom of the Tao, which he would then record for future generations. These profound gems of wisdom from Master Lao Tzu became known as the Tao Te Ching. The spiritual teachings and philosophical ideals conveyed in this text have resonated from one generation to the next, for more than 2500 years.

Master Lao Tzu had the inner prophetic ability to see the future, which naturally arose from His Heavenly destiny and dedicated spiritual practice. He foretold to Wen Shi that when he attained enlightenment, the Great One would then reincarnate in nearby Sichuan and present an azure ox as a sign to His student that He had returned, an event that actually occurred, as shown in our last episode.

Another example of Master Lao Tzu’s prophecies that came true is His foretelling of the unification of China by the State of Qin, to be fulfilled by a Conquering King. The prophecy is recorded four times in ‘Records of the Grand Historian’ by Sima Qian, written in the second century B.C.

In the second year of King Lie of the Zhou Dynasty, Dan, the Grand Historian of Zhou, also known as Master Lao Tzu, met the head of Qin State, King Qin Xian Gong, and said: “In the beginning, Qin and Zhou are united, and later are separated. After five hundred years of separation, they will reunite. Then, after 17 years of reunification, the Conquering King will appear.”

The development of history is indeed as He predicted. According to the calculations of years by esteemed scholars, the Conquering King prophesied is Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the founder of the Qin dynasty, and the first emperor of a unified China.

In 255 BC, Qin conquered West Zhou, and hence Qin and Zhou were reunited about 500 years, or 516 years to be precise after their separation.

Seventeen years later, in 238 BC, King Zheng of Qin, later known as the First Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, defeated royal conspirator Lao Ai and his supporters, which became an important step for the emperor to assume full power and establish a unified China by 221 BC.

Emperor Qin Shi Huang was said to be “A great Emperor seen once in a thousand years” by the Ming Dynasty thinker Li Zhi Under his rule and guidance, many improvements were developed that served to bring together the nation. These included standardization of the Chinese units of measurement and currency, and an extensive network of roads and canals to connect the individual provinces. Perhaps most importantly, the Chinese script was unified to form one written communication system for all of China. These feats, in just an 11-year reign, formed the basis for a consolidated Chinese culture that lasted over 2,000 years.

Thus, this very accurate prophecy could be translated into modern terms as follows, “The Qin dynasty was initially united with the Zhou dynasty. However, it always divides again after a long- period of time. After 500 years, they reunited again. After 17 years of reunion, a powerful Lord would appear.”

Master Lao Tzu’s many predictions covered a vast array of topics, situations and time frames, including several references to calamities. Over numerous reincarnations during this period, the wise Master had informed His disciples a repeating prophetic message, as witnessed in this prophecy: “The sixth time, I instruct all of you. When the planet Venus is out of its orbit, come quickly and join Me! Ask for help on the NAN YUE, and you will be saved from calamities.”

In ancient Chinese poetry, the reference to the planet Venus is often considered to portend the rise and fall of dynasties, and therefore by relation, calamity and war. In Chinese, Heng Liu, “橫流” means an object or substance that is not following a normal flow or rhythm. Thus, an irregular course of the planet Venus indicates an omen that large-scale calamity will take place. This could refer to either disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons and severe climate events, as well as human-induced problems such as infectious disease, an unfavorable dynasty change, or war, and hence, ‘great change.’

Additionally, when Lao Tzu referred to the number six, many philosophers interpret this to mean that He had mentioned this prediction during His six incarnations in Sichuan. However, in true Lao Tzu style, this could also be referring to a future event beyond the scope of the limited interpretation of the day. With His constant reference to end-of-times, this could be called a ‘mass extinction’ event. We are currently entering what is being termed the sixth mass extinction – an end-of-times event for humanity, and this is the time Lao Tzu said He would reincarnate as the Master of the Eternal Tao to rescue His disciples.

The Chinese word “諸子 (zhuzi)” here could either mean “disciples” or “the masses.” He could be foretelling that His disciples will come again in the distant future to find their reincarnated Master, get initiation from Him or Her, and practice spiritually. Another possible translation could be that during the Last Days, the public can pray to the reincarnated Master Lao Tzu in order to survive the crisis of the destruction of the Earth.

Lao Tzu also left a clue regarding how and where to find Him during these times of great disruption when He mention ‘Nan-Yue (南嶽).’ Nan-Yue would normally refer to Mount Heng, one of the Five Sacred Mountains of China that is associated with the Supreme God of Heaven – or creator of the Earth. Since the time of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the country’s royal leaders have made pilgrimage to these five holy peaks to pay reverence, pray, and receive mandates from Heaven.

But in ancient times, there was also a country named Nan-Yue, located in current day Âu Lạc (Vietnam) and extending into China. Nan-Yue (南越) is pronounced in the exact tones as the mountain Nan Yue (南嶽) mentioned in this prophecy. Could this be an indication that Lao Tzu would be reborn in the region of Âu Lạc (Vietnam) – during these calamitous times?

Supreme Master Ching Hai is an enlightened spiritual Master born in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), who has attained the Ultimate Tao. She transmits this Tao through the Quan Yin Method to sincere seekers who come to Her to take refuge. The Quan Yin Method is an ancient practice of meditation on the Tao, or inner Heavenly Light and Sound, that has been taught by all enlightened Masters since time immemorial, including great Master Lao Tzu.

Hence, could this prophecy be providing the following guidance? “I have told you, my followers (disciples), six times, that in the last days, the world will be devastated by wars. When disasters strike, hurry and find my reincarnation, pray to and seek this Aulacese (Vietnamese) Master. Then you will be saved from this End time crisis.”

Lao-Tzu’s promise, “…and you will be saved from calamities,” is the same safekeeping experienced by those whose lives have been touched by Supreme Master Ching Hai. Following are just a few accounts of these compassionate intercessions of the Master.

“(…I had a dream a couple of years ago that You [Supreme Master Ching Hai] came to me and said, “You are protected,” which inspired me a lot. …I had a small accident recently, and You saved me. Thank You very much….)”

“(…15 bandits hijacked at gunpoint the car I was in and made us follow them all the way to Grand Ravine. They beat me because I didn’t have any money on me, and they even told me they would shoot me if I didn’t provide them with a phone number to call for ransom. But I didn’t lose hope because I knew Master was watching over me. While in the hands of the bandits, I kept humming one of Master’s songs in my heart. I am indebted to Master because I was released at 9 pm that night. Without Supreme Master, my life would have been ruined! ...)”

“(Endless THANKS to Beloved Master for all that She has given me, taking good care of me, protecting me since young, long before I physically knew Master. Without Master's protection, I wouldn't be here anymore….)” Etc...
