In today’s news, European Union and World Food Programme join forces to support vulnerable people in Syria, research finds glaciers in Antarctica melting at alarming rate, Australian blind cricket star achieves world record, Spanish researchers discover how certain plant foods can reduce inflammation in seniors, community in Canada gifts homeless veteran new mobile home, possibly North America’s first 24/7 vegan convenience store opens inside California, USA, gas station, and doctors restore blind wild lion-person’s vision in India.

European Union (EU) releases €9 million to support World Food Programme (WFP) in Syria.

The caring donation enables the WFP to give cash assistance to approximately 375,000 vulnerable Syrians who are facing acute food shortages. It is estimated that about 12 million people are food insecure in the country. Using cash assistance is an efficient way to help people in need, allowing them to buy food of their choice while stimulating the local economy. With the region facing unprecedented levels of food insecurity, a strong partnership between the EU and the WFP is vital to unite international efforts to help the at-risk and maintain peace. An average of 5.6 million people have received WFP-sponsored food support each month since 2021. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Our deep appreciation, EU and WFP, for your dedication to helping our Syrian brothers and sisters. May the people of Syria soon enjoy abundance and plenitude, in Allah’s Mercy.

New research finds Antarctic glaciers losing ice at rapid pace.

Scientists from the United States and Great Britain recently concluded that two large glaciers in Antarctica are melting at the fastest rate in 5,500 years. The study measured the amount of sea level rise in the local region, and found that the Pine Island and Thwaites glaciers – which have a combined area nearly the size of Germany - are melting at double the amount today than they have been over the last 30 years. If the current rate of melt continues, it is expected that over the next several centuries, global sea levels could rise up to 3.4 meters. Thank you, researchers from the United States and Great Britain, for helping to sound the alarm about the precarious state of the planet. In Celestial clarity, may humanity soon wake up to the urgent need to halt the use of animal-people for food to ensure planetary stability. Vegan: 2 save our Earth, look no further!

Up next, Australian blind cricket star achieves world record. We’ll just thank the certified Pilates instructors who help their students maintain good health, better posture, and improved muscle strength. This mind-body exercise method was developed in the early 20th century by the German physical trainer Joseph Pilates and is practiced by millions of people worldwide. Please stay with us for more friendly news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, lively viewers, it’s Theodore, a vegan father from the Red-crested Turaco kingdom! Have you heard my famous call? Some people say I sound like a monkey in the jungle, but let me tell you, I don’t monkey around when choosing the foods I eat. It’s an all-fruit diet for my precious family and me! I’ve got a parenting tip for you from the nonprofit Nemours Foundation, which operates children’s hospitals in the US. Don’t expect your children to do everything you want them to just because you say, “because I said so.” You should explain your reasoning and offer rational responses to their questions. They deserve this as much as adults do. Make sure you are clear about your expectations and the consequences of any bad behavior. If you have an issue with something, be sure to describe it, express how you feel, and allow your child to work with you on a solution. Make suggestions and offer options. You should negotiate and also be open to your kid’s suggestions. It has been shown that children who play a role in decision-making are more motivated to implement the agreed-upon rules. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Thank you for watching, and here’s the weather around the world!

Australian blind cricket star, Steffan Nero, sets world record.

At the International Inclusion Series in Brisbane, Australia, the amazing Australian visually-impaired batter scored a world-record 309 not out, off 140 balls against New Zealand. Mr. Nero’s triple century breaks the world record of 262 not out set by Pakistan’s Masood Jan at the 1998 Blind Cricket World Cup, and his score will be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Asked how he achieved his success, Mr. Nero replied: “A lot of hard work and dedication.” Indeed, as both a law student at Notre Dame University and a cricket player, Mr. Nero is hardworking and very goal-driven. He’s excited about his achievement and how his example might encourage other vision-impaired persons to join his sport. Our accolades, Steffan Nero, for setting the new world record and being a shining example for all. May your incredible success inspire more people to push through boundaries and live their lives to the fullest, in God’s merciful Grace.

Researchers in Spain find polyphenol-rich diet can help prevent inflammation in older individuals.

A study from Spain recently showed that foods abundant in polyphenols, such as green tea, blueberries, apples, bitter chocolate, coffee, and certain vegetables, increase the levels of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and neuroprotective compounds known as indole 3-propionic acids (IPAs) in the gut. These foods work by encouraging the growth of specific friendly bacteria in the digestive tract that produce the IPA compound, which helps protect the intestinal wall. This aids in preventing certain chronic diseases faced by seniors as they advance in years. Their results follow previous research confirming that regularly consuming plant foods containing high amounts of polyphenols can assist with healthy aging. Great news, Spanish researchers, on the ability to age in a healthier manner by consuming more plant foods containing polyphenols. In this era of rapid communication, may such tools to better health be known by all, as we protect ourselves with a Divinely-supplied plant-food diet.

Squamish community in Canada gifts homeless veteran new mobile home.

When Jeremiah White realized that 81-year-young fellow ex-serviceman Orville Larson was living out of his 2006 automobile, he quickly moved into action. He teamed up with another local veteran, Cory Smith, who knows how to convert vans into mobile living spaces. Creating a GoFundMe account and with the community’s supportive spirit, they have now raised over US$50,000. Mr. Larson was able to move into a fully converted 2009 Chevy Express, a vehicle replete with a pull-out awning, stovetop, sink with running water, lights, refrigerator, heater, solar chargers and a bed. He was excited and grateful to receive this incredible gift and expressed that he would visit his hometown that he left 40 years ago. Hats off, Jeremiah White, Cory Smith and other Squamish community members, for your care towards a fellow Canadian in need. We wish Orville Larson many happy years ahead in the comfort of his new home, in Heaven’s protection. Non-vegan: helpers 4 humans’ extinction.

Coming up, possibly North America’s first 24/7 vegan convenience store opens inside California, USA, gas station. We’re going to pause for a moment to appreciate the commercial dishwasher units that save staff time by cleaning large amounts of dishes at our favorite vegan restaurants. We’ll return with more gladdening news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Alleviating News for a Habitable World.

Hangry Planet opens possibly North America’s first vegan convenience store accessible 24 hours a day in a gas station.

Curated by actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist Bobak Bakhtiari, every item sold in this exciting outlet is eco-friendly, cruelty-free and animal-product-free. The store, located in a Shell service station in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA, carries vegan drinks, snacks, meals, desserts and more from popular local, national and international vegan companies. Caringly, 10% of all proceeds will benefit human and animal-people rights charities via Moms Against Poverty worldwide. Mr. Bakhtiari created the 24-hour vegan convenience store model after he was deeply inspired by the works of non-profits Animal Recovery Mission and Animal Equality, a Shining World Courage & Compassion Award recipient. Bravo, Hangry Planet, for establishing a 24-hour vegan convenience store inside a gas station. As more people turn towards a compassionate lifestyle, may all consumers soon embrace vegan foods in every corner of the globe, in the care of the Providence.

Five-year-old wild male lion-person in Gujarat, India, undergoes cataract surgery to save eyesight.

When forest staff suspected something was wrong with a lion-guy, he was captured and transported to a rescue center. Upon examination, the vet found the poor fellow had bilateral cataracts and was unable to see. To help him survive in the wild, human eye surgeon Dr. Sanjeev Javia led a team of veterinary doctors to perform cataract surgery that involved replacing the eyes’ damaged lenses with artificial ones. After detailed study of a deceased lion-person’s eyes, Dr. Javia and team successfully restored the lion-individual’s vision to 100%, marking the first operation of its kind on a lion-person. He will soon be released into the wild. Our accolades, Dr. Sanjeev Javia and all the loving people involved, for saving this beautiful being’s eyesight. May all animal-folk be well cared for, in the eternal love of the Divine.

Now, it’s time to get comfy and get the fun rolling with the following joke entitled “Ongoing Project.”

At an engineering company, the boss asks the engineer:

“How is the project going on?”

“A number of different approaches are being tried.”

“What do you mean?”

“We don’t know where we’re going, but we’re moving!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Jeong-woo in Korea:

Dearest Master, Thanks to Master’s Grace, I was able to join the Ukrainian refugee relief team in Poland to do relief work. Our team members, including myself, experienced many amazing things while doing the work. In particular, our fellow practitioners who worked in Moldova joined our refugee relief team in Poland. Also, one of the members of the Moldova team said that he felt Master’s Blessings very strongly. This was all thanks to Your Blessings. I also had amazing inner and outer experiences while working there.

I’d like to share the most impressive one among them. It happened between 12:00 am and 5 am in Poland on April 24. I fell asleep while meditating with an anxious mind, leaving behind my unfamiliar work at that time. Maybe because of my uneasiness, I had a nightmare. But that was only for a moment. Then I felt some unknown force pulling me from above at an incredibly high speed. The feeling of being pulled up was like riding a super high-speed elevator in a skyscraper. It was also similar to what it feels like during take-off in an airplane. But the difference was that my feet didn’t touch the ground. Because of that, I was very scared and I found myself floating in the air. At that time, I could see such wonderful scenery. I was right there in a space full of blue-green light. The scenery was beautiful, but I felt very dizzy. So I focused on reciting the Five Holy Names to get out of there quickly and I was able to wake up. Jeong-woo from Korea

Helpful Jeong-woo, Thank you for sharing your notable experience while doing the noble relief work for Ukraine.

Master has some wisdom to share with you: “Charitable Jeong-woo, the experiences you and the other initiates had while doing the relief work for Ukraine are perfect examples of how the Master Power is always there for the sincere practitioners in difficult circumstances. When we want to know ourselves inwardly and help others outwardly, we will be blessed and protected always. Thank you for assisting the beautiful Ukrainian people in their most desperate hour, my love. May Heaven continue to bless you and all who are helping as well as upstanding Korea.”

“They [kill] to seek the pleasure of the palate and cause life from the living to be extinguished. For the sake of sensual gratification they buy sin and get their abode in the fires of hell. Never will they get release from this bondage, even if the cosmos were to turn upside down. Be they hermits, recluses, householders or others, none will escape the tortures of hell.” ~ Param Sant Tulsi Sahib (vegetarian)
