In today’s news, Germans assist Ukraine with record monetary donations, United Nations report advocates for better groundwater management to address global water crisis, Salvation Army in United States creates communal vegetable garden for homeless shelter, Indian seed bank established to conserve rare plants, college student recognized for creating business selling face masks during pandemic to help community charities in Canada, British vegan dog-people food company’s sales jump over 600% in six months, and Brazil provides new legal option to avoid testing on animal-people to demonstrate school supply safety.

Record amount of money donated by Germans to Ukraine.

The German entity Aktionsbündnis Katastrophenhilfe, which consists of four organizations, UNICEF Germany, the German Red Cross, Caritas International and the humanitarian arm of the nation’s evangelical church, saw a record €76 million given so far for the Ukrainian victims of the Russian invasion. Humanitarian organization Aktion Deutschland Hilft has also received almost €56 million, and other non-profits continue to accept significant donation sums. In addition, proceeds raised from the showing of the award-winning documentary “Klitschko” in 450 theaters across Germany about Ukrainian brothers Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko, both freedom fighters and former world champion boxers, will be given to a children’s aid organization in Ukraine. Thank you, generous German people, and all involved, for helping to support Ukrainians in their time of urgent need. In God’s magnanimous Love, may Russia immediately leave Ukraine to ensure no more precious lives are lost and peace is restored.

World Water Development Report (WWDR) 2022 by UNESCO suggests global water crisis can be resolved by better management of aquifers.

UNESCO’s WWDR says that 99% of liquid freshwater on Earth comes from underground and almost 50% of the global urban population depends on it for drinking and domestic uses. About 25% of groundwater is consumed by the irrigation of crops. However, UNESCO says the resource is being “mismanaged, undervalued and even abused” as well as contaminated by substances like agrochemicals. Therefore, the WWDR 2022 recommends strict aquifer monitoring, equal distribution of groundwater as well as proper management and preservation of it by governments. Our gratitude, UNESCO, for producing this eye-opening report. May humanity treasure and share invaluable natural resources and be a conscientious steward of the planet, in Divine blessings. Choose vegan: b selected 4 sainthood.

Up next, Salvation Army in United States creates communal vegetable garden for homeless shelter. We’d like to thank the actors and actresses, whose talents and hard work bring to life all characters, to comfort, cheer and inspire their audiences. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more brightening news.

Hi, energetic friends, I am Trumpette, a vegan stay-at-home dad from the Elephant kingdom! The gentle waves of light fill our lives when we choose the radiant path of benevolence. Through this principle, I bathe in tenderness and kindness throughout my days. I would like to offer a handy tip for you today! Many of us have unorganized kitchen drawers and cabinets. To help with this issue, you can use tension rods. These are adjustable rods with a spring inside and come in varying sizes. Just secure tension rods vertically in kitchen cabinets or horizontally across your pot and pan drawers. You can always add more rods to hold your baking sheets, cutting boards, and pot lids! Thank you for your attention and love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

Salvation Army in United States creates vegetable garden in accommodation complex for homeless.

The Salvation Army, an international church-based charity, recently helped to create a communal fruit and vegetable garden on the grounds of a hotel they purchased to house the unsheltered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Apart from fresh vegan food, the garden also provides a place where the children can go after school, and helps to bring the families together as they lovingly tend to the plants. Currently, the facility houses 70 people, but plans are in place to expand the capacity to 400. We applaud your efforts, Salvation Army, for helping to protect and care for people without homes in the United States. In the everlasting benevolence of the Providence, may all in the world have adequate food and shelter, as we care for each other in gratitude.

Seed bank in India created to aid in rare plant conservation.

The Malayinkeezhu Grama Panchayat, a village council in Kerala state, India, has founded Project Seed Bank. The program will work in collaboration with the agriculture department and workers of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme to collect extremely rare plant species, then plant and cultivate them in public spaces. The project has already received around 11 types of such seeds from kindhearted donors, including Indian olive, utrasum bean, and Ceylon ebony tree seeds. The program has been integrated into the carbon-neutral initiative of the town of Kattakada due to these plant varieties having high carbon absorption capacities. Wonderful news, Malayinkeezhu Grama Panchayat of Kerala, India, on your goodwill initiative to conserve rare plant species, and Kattakada, on your endeavor to eliminate excess carbon dioxide from the environment. In God’s loving Wisdom, we pray more efforts by governmental agencies are made towards preserving our planet for generations to come.

Canadian college student honored for creating local business during pandemic to help community.

Robyn Ham received Canada’s Volunteer Award for co-founding Sask Masks in 2020 with her twin sister Jana and friends Jordan Tholl and Ryan Selinger, all students at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan. The team, which soon included 36 seamstresses, made and sold reusable face masks, enabling them to donate over US$41,000 to local charities during their year of operation. The virtuous initiative was sparked by Professor Lisa Watson, Robyn Ham’s teacher, who offered an almost US$1,200 loan to any student in her class who could start a social business to help the community during the pandemic. Congratulations, Robyn Ham, and all involved in Sask Masks, on your noble endeavor and recognition. In Heaven’s generosity, may upstanding projects like this pave the way for a peaceful and benevolent future. Go vegan: so that all the war between humans will stop. N all the wars between humans n animals will also stop.

Coming up, British vegan dog-people food company’s sales jump over 600% in six months. We are going to pause for a moment to remind ourselves to speak kindly to people around us, so we can spread peace and love with every word we say. We’ll be right back with more laudable news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Beneficial News for an Intelligent World.

UK vegan dog-people food startup sales soar over 600% in six months.

OMNI sold nearly 90,000 vegan dog-people meals from September 2021 to March 2022, a phenomenal six-fold growth in sales. The company raised £1.1 million in 2021 to be used for its expansion. More information about the devastating environmental damage that is caused by producing animal-people-based pet foods has been revealed. This has led to a growing number of people to feed their dog-people companions with plant-based offerings for the nutritional benefits and due to ethical concerns with conventional food. Besides OMNI, other British companies are also working towards providing more plant-based dog-people food options such as THE PACK, a food-tech company. Bravo, OMNI and THE PACK, on your mission to provide nutritious, plant-based food for our friends from the canine kingdom. May our worldwide transition to a vegan lifestyle be realized quickly, in Celestial swiftness.

Performing testing on animal-people to show safety of school supplies no longer required in Brazil.

Humane Society International (HSI), a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, has announced that Brazilian national regulations now permit animal-person-free safety assessments of school items. Previously, rat- and rabbit-people were used to test that paints, glues and other products would not contain ingredients harmful to children. The changes have been a result of efforts from HSI and the National Council for the Control of Animal Experimentation (CONCEA). Dr. Bianca Marigliani, HSI’s science advisor, commented on the regulation update, saying, “These apparently simple changes ensure child safety while avoiding the unjustifiable use of many animals in safety assessment of school supplies in Brazil.” Our praises, Brazil, HSI and CONCEA, for your efforts in bringing about this compassionate change. May the bright Brazilian youth always be able to enjoy an education free of animal-people cruelty, in the gentle guidance of the Divine.

Lucky you! It’s chuckle-time because we have prepared a joke. It’s called, “Given Away.”

Unlike his sister Anna, a four-year-old boy had a bad habit of leaving his toys lying around. When his mother couldn’t take it anymore, she warned him:

“Why can’t you be neat like Anna? If you leave your toys lying around again, I’ll give them away.”

The next morning, toys were scattered all over the place.

“Hey! Aren’t you afraid that the toys will be given away?”

“Not really. These toys belong to Anna.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Yoo-Jeong in Seoul, Korea:

Making holiday foods according to Master’s recipes from “A Gift of Love: Simple & Nutritious Cooking with Supreme Master Ching Hai” at the end of each year is becoming a kind of a tradition. While making mince pies and jam tarts in 2020, and rock buns at the end of 2021 with the recipes Master kindly taught us, I could feel Master wanted to share this heart-warming time with Her disciples. I also tried to put my whole heart into it while baking these treats and I hope they were made well. :) I sent pies, tarts, and rock buns to my friends and they were so happy and enjoyed them. I also made pastries for animal-people companions, and my dog- and cat-people companions also tasted them. All five of them were very happy with these special treats.

Dearest Master, thank You for creating such a delightful vegan tradition for me every year. These experiences were very special to me as we could express the affection we have for each other during this time when meeting friends and relatives became difficult due to COVID-19. I also would like to express my gratitude to the Supreme Master Television team for scheduling this wonderful program. The program about the gifts for animal-people companions was also really helpful to me. With the loving memories in my heart from the end of the year, in this new year 2022, I will do what I can and move forward. Be Vegan, Make Peace! Vegan Now. Yoo-Jeong from Seoul, Korea

P.S. Master has this reply for you: “Joyful Chef Yoo-Jeong, I wish I was there to enjoy some of your cooking. Filled with so much love, your baked goods must have tasted delicious! Your animal-people companions are very lucky to have such treats. Love to you all and may Buddha grace your days and prospering Korea with peace and fulfillment.”

“I think that when friendship and perception of kinship ruled everything, no one killed any creature, because people thought the other animals were related to them.” ~ Porphyry of Tyre (vegetarian)
