Here is how you can make a DIY firewood rack without using any tools. Plan your rack near your firepit, beneath a shelter, or along a fence. Simply place two concrete cinder blocks opposite to each other with the holes facing up. Then insert two pressure-treated 2-inch by 4-inch (5 x 10 centimeter) pieces of lumber in each cinder block so they point outward in a “V” shape. This will create the side support needed for your firewood rack. Lay two more beams as a base to connect the cinder blocks. Longer bases may need a third cinder block in the middle to support the base beams. Now you can stack your wood along the base beams inside the “V”. This firewood rack will come in handy for the winter months.
