On October 8 and 9, 2022, our Association members in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (Formosa) celebrated the Chinese language version launch of “Love Is The Only Solution.”
The book, written by Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), was debuted at the No Meat Festival, held outside of the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. The two-day event, which featured about 60 vegan brand offerings, was attended by approximately 24,000 visitors. Nearly 600 copies of “Love Is The Only Solution” were handed out. Attendees were also fascinated by the display of Master’s beautiful Amoura lighting and photographic art.
Taiwanese legislator, The Honorable Lin Tai-Hua (vegetarian), was delighted to visit our booth, and expressed her admiration for the book. “This book is called “Love Is The Only Solution,” in which love refers to the equality of all sentient beings. That is, the life of an ant is as precious as that of a human. So, we advocate no meat-eating; no killing; no seafood eating, absolutely meat-free.”
Another attendee described how Master’s wisdom, especially in Chapter 4, “The Answer to All of Humanity’s Problems Is LOVE,” directly benefited her family. “Speaking of this book, Love Is The Only Solution, what impressed me most was Chapter 4. I’ve read this book several times, and I had different experiences each time. The most impressive one was because of my child, who has had many problems in school. Thus, I tried to tell him in a very gentle tone, ’Actually, many things can be solved by being more tolerant and loving toward others. Hurting others by violence and words is not a solution.’ Following this, my child did embrace and take care of his classmates; therefore, he made up with his classmates again. It guided me to have an influence on my child, so I do feel I have gained numerous advantages through the arrangement of the book. and words is not a solution.”
