I’m pleased to present a tip about taking care of my fellow animal friends from Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) for you today.

“Hi there, good folk, Godbless you for being loving and compassionate. It’s a good deed to adopt an animal-person, such as a dog or a cat, from a shelter and give them a forever home. But you should check out the race to see if is suitable and what the pet-person will need to be comfortable in your home, etc. And if you want to convert them into a vegan pet, then please do it slowly. First, add a small portion mixed with their old usual diet food. Otherwise, they might get an allergic reaction and be sick, such as diarrhea, vomiting, etc., which can bring you a put-off feeling or wanting to return the pet-person. Please just get advice from the vet and medicine for them. Please never return your pet-person to the shelter, as this will do great damage to their psyche, wellness, happiness and trust in humans. And never confine them in a cage all day/night, or even chain them at any time for any reason and/or for your convenience. Imagine it is you being rejected or imprisoned like that! Thank you for being kindhearted and caring for those helpless and in need, be it an animal-person or a human. God will reward you manyfold without you even praying for or noticing it.”

Our gratitude, Master, for Your loving advice on looking after animal-people companions and reminding us to consider how we would feel in their situation.
