Indeed, this visionary country is making steadfast progress in green building design and construction projects. Considering the multitude of economic and environmental benefits associated with green buildings, many more architects, engineers and infrastructure developers in Malaysia are embracing and implementing the concept of environmentally-friendly structures. Since the GBI’S introduction, Malaysian cities are experiencing a proliferation of new construction and renovation projects, which embrace environmentally-friendly concepts, such as harnessing renewable energy, maximizing the use of natural sunlight, implementing rain harvesting methods as well as using recycled materials.
