Today is Moon Festival, and each year at this time, under such a beautiful full Moon, people enjoy mooncakes and have heart-to-heart talks with their loved ones. The reunion, scented with sweet jasmine blossoms, creates an encharming moment of love. Nothing is more precious than a happy get-together. Tonight, Oriental Pearl Dance Club dancers will present to us a very beautiful dance, “Happy Reunion Under Jasmine Blooms.”

“I strongly agree that being vegetarian is a very good way to save the planet.

It is something that everybody, the whole mankind, can work on together. As a scientist and an engineer, I think we can put in a lot of effort into green technology, the discussion of its theory or verifying the experiments of it. But ultimately, if we, humanity as a whole, want to save the Earth together, I think it’s an important topic to figure out how to reduce water pollution on Earth and the continuous increase of carbon dioxide in the air, so that the environment on our planet stays beautiful, and that all of us can live sustainably. We won’t just live for a long time, but will live better as well. Therefore, I’m very happy for being able to attend the conference.”

“I’m Pastor Chi-wood Fung, a Christian pastor. I’ve been vegan for five years. I feel good. In fact, I’ve tried to turn vegan before, but it was difficult because habits die hard. This time, I was determined, and I succeeded. I’m very happy. My energy level has improved and my health has changed for the better. My friends even said that I’m slimmer and fit now. Very good in all aspects.

(Have you ever heard that veganism can help to save the planet?) Shame on me. I really neglected it before. I was a science major when I was in college. I’ve always paid close attention to planetary and world issues, and so on. But I overlooked it until I heard the Supreme Master’s talk and the arguments of some scientists, which made me feel ashamed. It didn’t come to my attention until half a year or a year ago.

By watching Supreme Master Television, I got to know the information, and I also admire the Supreme Master for what She’s saying and the way She does it. Because many people dare not say such things, because they think veganism is equivalent to a religion, or there are other reasons. I hope more people will come to know just how important veganism is and that it has a significant impact on the issue of global warming. Everyone, please be vegan, go green. Let’s save the planet together. Let’s work on it.”
