I think it’s something that we’re innately born with, is the desire to not inflict harm on innocent beings. Anyone, any young child that learns about what happens to animals is going to be traumatized – they’ll cry and throw a fit. And that’s something that we learn to accept just through society, by our teachers and our friends and our family showing us that: this is normal, and this is OK, and we have to learn to ignore those feelings of, “Maybe this is wrong.” I encourage everyone to go back to that and understand that if it’s unnecessary then it’s cruel, then it’s wrong.
