A simple, active lifestyle with plenty of meditation and a vegan diet is the best way to stay healthy. For today’s tip, I would like to recommend chia seeds as a beneficial addition to your diet. They are high in fiber, protein and omega-3 fatty acids - and can assist in digestion, decrease inflammation and improve heart health. Furthermore, consuming chia seeds in water can potentially offer hydration benefits, promote skin health, cleanse body waste, lower blood pressure and reduce cholesterol levels. To make chia water, add 15-30 grams (1-2 tablespoons) of chia seeds in 240 milliliters (8 ounces) of water. Allow them to steep for several minutes prior to drinking, but avoid waiting too long otherwise they will become over gelatinous. Start with smaller servings over a few weeks and allow your body to adjust to this health promoting drink. To get the full benefits of these powerful seeds, lightly grind them first so your digestion can absorb the nutrients more completely. Be sure to drink more plain water in the hours following consumption.

I just had an accident in which a car hit me from behind while I was riding my scooter. Considering both of my knees were hurt, I am reliant on other people’s help. Brothers and sisters in the Quan Yin family showed concern and are assisting me with tasks I am unable to perform, such as shopping and garbage removal, while others are morally supportive. This is the genuine definition of being a brother or sister. I want that caring energy and love to spread throughout the Earth and among every creature on it.

Even though I believe I will always be just a practitioner (the emphasis is on faithful practice), I have a strong sense of Master’s Love, for which I am extremely grateful, as other people may have abandoned us, but the Master’s Love does not abandon us. And I hope that everyone feels it, and that fellow practitioners will strengthen the Light barrier by being compassionate in their words and actions towards one another, so that the devil does not gain a foothold, and the Light barrier is strengthened, protecting the places and neighborhoods we live in.
