The following fascinating story illustrates the power of faith and how goodwill can lead to miraculous changes. It is said that during the Song Dynasty in China, a noble named Wei had a virtuous daughter known as Noble Lady. One day, the Noble Lady suddenly passed away under mysterious circumstances, leaving the family devastated. According to ancient customs, the family held a mourning period for seven days. However, on the seventh day, a voice emerged from the coffin, exclaiming, “I can’t breathe!” The family joyfully opened the coffin, and the Noble Lady stepped out to greet her mother, saying: “Dear mother, the Pure Land is very joyful. In the Pool of Seven Treasures, there are many lotus flowers, as large as wheels. On the petals of the lotus, there are names: one for father, and the other two are for my two brothers. […] I searched everywhere but couldn’t find a flower with your name, so I sought Amitabha Buddha’s permission to return and share this news and urge you to practice the Pure Land teachings. If you dedicate yourself to reciting the Buddha’s name, a lotus flower will bloom in the Pool of Seven Treasures for you, just like those for father, my two brothers, and myself.”

The Noble Lady described the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha as truly miraculous, a place where practitioners reach Nirvana after leaving the earthly realm. Here, everything manifests according to one’s wishes, and the scenery is exceptionally beautiful, far surpassing the mundane world.

On June 21, 2024, the Most Merciful Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) graciously explained the beauty and peace of the Buddha’s Lands, also known as Heaven’s Lands. “Buddha’s Lands are also in some of these Heavens. Some of the Buddhas, Their merits are so immense, They created Their own Heavens for Their own followers, Their own disciples who followed Them when They were on Earth. And maybe there was some leftover energy from those Buddhas, and people believed in Them, so those Buddhas will also help them, or send them some of Their High Disciples from Buddha’s Land to come down to help those praying for help. Buddha’s Land is also a Heaven. So we can say ‘Buddha’s Land,’ or we can say ‘Heaven’s Land’; it’s the same. It means a blissful, happy, endless freedom, endless blessing, endless wish-fulfilling situations every second of your life. […]”

Now, let’s explore the phenomena recorded about the extraordinary abilities of the masters in India that transcend scientific validation.

“According to the document ‘157 Mysterious Phenomena Around the World,’ he sat in a meditative pose, eyes closed, and after being buried for a month, he was still alive. In a particularly special experiment, Barodo submerged himself in a sealed water tank. After a week, when the lid was opened, he emerged from the tank, appearing completely relaxed and normal.”

According to the book “157 Mysterious Phenomena Around the World,” Babaxin Vidasu, revered as a holy man in India, performed a miraculous act. In 1977, he asked his followers to bury him, instructing them to dig him up precisely 20 years later. At the end of 1997, following his instructions, his followers unearthed the coffin. Astonishingly, when they opened the lid, Vidasu was still alive and showed almost no signs that time had passed. His appearance had hardly changed from 20 years prior; he seemed not to have aged at all.

The book “Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East” recounts an extraordinary performance by an Indian yogi during a diplomatic visit to the UK led by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. “His body was placed in a large chest, taken outside the city, and buried in a garden belonging to a priest. A wall was built around the burial site after scattering barley seeds, and guards were stationed around the clock. After 40 days, the grave was unearthed. Despite the chill, Haridas’ body remained unchanged from 40 days prior.”
