Let’s first go to South Africa to meet a one-of-a-kind brigade of four-legged police officers who are especially trained to protect the country’s precious wildlife. The Southern African Wildlife College trains brave canine- heroes to protect wildlife from poachers. Since the addition of these special canine patrols, the Southern African Wildlife College has effectively seen its success rate at preserving wildlife increase by 65%. After learning about their amazing work, our Cherished Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gladly presents the Shining World Hero Award to the Southern African Wildlife College canine patrol, plus a loving gift of US$10,000 for vegan treats for the courageous dog-people, with lots of love, praises and high fives.”

Let’s journey next to the United States of America to meet a kind-hearted teenager who selflessly set out to help those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. From the age of six, 14-year-old Liêm Kaplan, from Seattle, Washington, has been passionately helping others, especially those without a roof over their head. Upon hearing about his good deeds, our beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Praisingly present the Shining World Compassion Award to Liêm Kaplan, with lots of love and gratitude, as well as US$10,000 to put toward your noble cause.”

The last awardee today is WEMA HOME, a charitable organization with offices in Benin, Germany, that built a training center for less fortunate youngsters. The goals of the organization are to help children and adolescents access education and employment, improve the working and living conditions of girls and women, curb rural flight, and prevent child trafficking, as well as promoting environmental protection and nature conservation. Our beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Happily presents the Shining World Compassion Award in God's Love to the WEMA HOME organization, plus US$25,000 as a loving token of support toward this noble work.”

From June to August 2021, Master presented 14 Shining World Awards, with a US$ 175,000 in total contributions. Thanks to Her compassionate care and support, these awardees have been encouraged to continue on their loving paths, helping people and animal-individuals in need.
