Do you want a super-powered brain? There are many things you can do to maximize your genetic potential and make your brain function better. Here is a little tip for you. Did you know using your non-dominant hand daily to do tasks you normally use your dominant hand for can train your brain to make new neural connections and improve cognitive function? You can perform simple exercises like writing a different word daily with your non-dominant hand and then progressively move onto other things with that hand like drinking, combing your hair, and brushing your teeth. Even though you may not be able to tell, these exercises encourage your brain to form new, stronger connections between its hemispheres. It’s important to step outside of your comfort zone and learn new skills since this can help prevent cognitive decline in the future.
