In today’s news, United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund and partners give education grant to Democratic Republic of the Congo, China suffers highest number of major floods since record-keeping began, UK researchers discover bacteria that can eradicate cancer cells, European Pharmacopoeia stops use of rabbit-people for drug testing, blacksmith in California, United States, repurposes firearms into garden tools, Brazilian mycoprotein startup receives government funding, and endangered blue whale-person spotted off Massachusetts coast in United States.

A diet rich in colorful plant foods is a great way to enhance your brain function during all stages of life. I have a further tip to help prevent dementia. Numerous studies reveal that gardening offers multiple benefits without people even noticing it. It reduces social isolation, provides a sense of purpose, and connects us with Nature. Even health professionals find that the healing benefits are impressive, as gardening can help ward off dementia. Engaging in gardening projects involves complex cognitive processes like memory and executive function. Physical activities like weeding, digging, and mowing are also beneficial for the brain. Getting your hands dirty has also been seen to raise serotonin levels, thanks to a particular microbe in the soil. Staying connected to others through community gardens enhances brain health. Plus, growing your own food leads to a healthier diet, with gardeners consuming more fresh fruits and vegetables, which as I mentioned earlier, are essential for overall brain health and cognitive function. Nothing beats the taste of fresh produce straight from the garden.

Now, it’s time for a happy intermission with the joke of the day. It’s called “Divine Exercise.”

A man was struggling with his thoughts.

“I wonder if I’m too selfish. I mean, I always seem to do everything for myself. Perhaps God can help me be more selfless.”

Just as he was about to sit down in prayer, he thought to himself:

“But if God rids me of my selfishness, how will I ever sit down to pray? It would be selfish not to think about God.”

So, he stood up.

“But if I don’t pray, I will remain selfish.”

And so, he sat again. This discussion went on in his mind for over an hour, as he stood up and sat down again and again.

Watching this from on high, God commented:

“Well, at least he is getting some exercise.”

And now we have a heartline from Maïmouna in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo:

My joyful greetings to all the people of the world. I am from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. We support the Love incarnate, Who is Supreme Master Ching Hai in Her vision of restoring peace throughout the world. If evil and suffering were present among us through a single person, I am convinced that good, joy, and liberation will settle in thanks to a single person too, and that is Her. This will not be done by magic but rather by following Her teachings and, of course, adopting an alternative lifestyle, becoming vegan, that is to say, eating without causing pain. For our own good and for the entire Universe, let’s not wait any longer, let’s just do it! Please let’s save our planet. May the Love of Heaven flood you with blessings today and forever. Maïmouna from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo

Wise Maïmouna, We thank you for expressing these simple and profound thoughts. Master’s soul-liberating and planet-saving teachings are easy to adopt and follow. May you and the colorful Democratic Republic of the Congo achieve your noble dreams, guided by the wisdom of the enlightened Masters who have walked with us on Earth. In Divine Peace, Supreme Master TV team
