This episode is about an environmental activist Bei –Yuan Lai, also known as the “Formosan Tree King”. Every morning he would head out from home at five o’clock and drive for about forty minutes to the Da-Xue mountain area to begin his daily routine of planting seedlings. So far, he has already spent more than 6 million US dollars on restoring the habitat, and still there is no end to his determination to restore this mountain to its original pristine state.
