It’s a very simple song that’s offered up to the ocean, which surrounds us and gives us back, the biggest nurturer. May All Beings Everywhere Be Happy and Free.”“(The main theme of today’s conference was about the impact of the livestock industry on the environment. After listening to it, do you have any thoughts or feelings that you can share with us?) I have been a vegetarian for five years now. Earlier, I asked Supreme Master how we can help those involved in the livestock industry if the industry were to disappear. I found Supreme Master’s response very insightful. Essentially, everyone should do their duty. If each person does their part, it will naturally influence others. In fact, this approach shouldn’t pose any problems for those industries and workers.(Also, in the conference, the Supreme Master expressed many of Her views on environmental protection, and offered suggestions for spiritual elevation. I wonder how you feel about Her personally or about what She said.) Actually, I personally found Supreme Master’s response very wise. She is very proactive in supporting environmental conservation. In fact, after listening to Her, many people feel inspired by Her infectious enthusiasm and agree with Her views. Even if they cannot adopt the vegan diet [yet], perhaps due to their habit, or because they haven’t reached that level yet, maybe they will gradually accept the idea over time. A vegan diet can help the environment and shape our mindset positively. And it’s good for the Earth as well. It’s beneficial for us spiritually and in our lives.(After listening to today’s speakers’ talks, will they have any impact on your future lifestyle or dietary habits? Can you share with us?) Actually, I basically will continue to adhere to a vegetarian diet, and will be more committed to the vegan lifestyle. And I hope to influence others around me and contribute to saving the Earth. In fact, after turning vegan, our mind will become peaceful, and we won’t take lives or do bad deeds. It is very beneficial for society. So how can we not promote it? Therefore, I will continue encouraging my friends or other people around me to support veganism. Be Vegan, Go Green, Save the Planet.”
