“As I watched from the very heaven itself, there were times when great deluges of this liquid light seemed to fall upon great congregations, and that congregation would lift up their hands and seemingly praise God for hours and even days as the Spirit of God came upon them. God said, ‘I will pour my Spirit upon all flesh,’ and that is exactly this thing. And to every man and every woman that received this power, and the anointing of God, the miracles of God, there was no ending to it.”
On the morning of July 25, 1961, Reverend Tommy Hicks, a US Pentecostal preacher, had an astonishing vision about the world’s future, which he dutifully recorded in vivid detail and titled “Vision of the Body of Christ and the End-Time Ministries.” He saw the body of Christ as a big giant on Earth who was on the verge of dying. The giant had to remove the corrupted dark elements in his body, be cleansed by the Divine rain, dissolve himself, and then transform into people of a new faith. God told him:
“This is that which I will do in the last days. I will restore all that the cankerworm, the palmerworm, the caterpillar – I will restore all that they have destroyed. This, my people, in the end times will go forth. As a mighty army shall they sweep over the face of the Earth.”
Who are the new people reborn from the dying giant? Reverend Hicks described what he saw regarding them in his vision.
“As I was at this great height, I could behold the whole world. I watched these people as they were going to and fro over the face of the Earth. Suddenly, there was a man in Africa and in a moment he was transported by the Spirit of God, and perhaps he was in Russia, or China or America, or some other place, and vice versa. All over the world these people went, and they came through fire, and through pestilence, and through famine. Neither fire nor persecution, nothing seemed to stop them.
[…] I realised that I never saw a church, and I never saw or heard a denomination, but these people were going in the Name of the Lord of Hosts. Hallelujah!
As they marched forth in everything they did as the ministry of Christ in the end times, these people were ministering to the multitudes over the face of the Earth. Tens of thousands, even millions seemed to come to the Lord Jesus Christ as these people stood forth and gave the message of the Kingdom, of the coming Kingdom, in this last hour.”
What Reverend Tommy Hicks witnessed was a worldwide spiritual revival at the End Time, when Christ Consciousness will come directly to the multitudes, regardless of nationality, culture, or religious background. In terms of spiritual practice, this direct transmission of God’s Power and awakening of the Christ Consciousness within is achieved by receiving initiation from a True Master Who has attained complete enlightenment, just like Lord Jesus Christ.
In many spiritual lineages, great spiritual Masters have imparted elevated Teachings to disciples of Their generation, and oftentimes Their Teachings have served as the foundation for religious organizations that developed later on, along with the construction of many churches and temples. ETC…
It has always been the Enlightened Masters who have established the connection between humans and God, or the Divine Power within. This process is not constrained by any church, religion, or nationality. It’s also a characteristic of our Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association.
Although we have meditation centers around the world, our Association does not have grand churches or temples, or claim to belong to any “ism.” In Her books and lectures, Supreme Master Ching Hai elaborated on this subject.
“Our path isn’t a religion. I do not convert anyone to Catholicism or Buddhism or any other ‘ism,’ I simply offer you a way to know your Self, to find out where you come from, to remember your mission here on Earth, to discover the secret of the universe, to understand why there is so much misery, and what awaits us after death. And every day you will see everything just like you see me now. I do not ask you to believe me, but to experience it every day for yourself.”
“I told you before, in my ashram, before Hsihu or other places, I didn’t have any buildings. I used all my money for helping the poor, the worst, the less fortunate than us. I told you, because you still have a home to go to. Homeless people, they don’t have. The disaster people, they have nowhere to turn. Even if you get wet here, tomorrow you go home, you have dry clothes. Even if you sit in a tent, so what? You even have a tent. The disaster people, they don’t have a tent. Homeless people, they don’t have a tent. Therefore, I used the money for other things. I did not build any ashram at all, and then I told you, ‘Don’t worry, just wait until I die, you will have a lot of churches, maybe.’ Ching Hai churches; it’s possible.
We shouldn’t be too greedy. Better to have a lot of people, warm and just enough room than big, many rooms, empty and nobody comes – like many churches or temples. So big! Remember the one in Duisburg nearby? (Yes.) Oh, so empty, empty. Now and again, there comes a wedding party, that’s it. Is that what a church is made for? Wonderful. And we sit together in a smaller room. But after I die, there will be big churches everywhere, I’m telling you.
The same every time. When the Buddha was alive, He didn’t even have a big temple. Maybe one or two, built by disciples, but not just empty, tired temples everywhere. And when (Lord) Jesus was alive, He didn’t even have shoes. He had to hide everywhere, all the time. He worried people would catch Him. He could not even stay in one place sometimes. He said, ‘The Son of God doesn’t have anywhere to lay His head.’ And then, after He died, look at how many churches we have. Empty; some are empty, some big and empty. Cost a lot of money.”
Our Association members (all vegans) reside in “Africa, England, Russia, China, America, all over the world,” just as envisioned by Reverend Tommy Hicks. ETC…
We receive initiation from the Most Powerful Supreme Master Ching Hai, Who has attained complete Enlightenment through the Quan Yin Method of meditation. It’s a Method of contemplating one’s Inner Heavenly Light and Inner Heavenly Sound. All the Association members adhere to the same Five Precepts, including adopting the vegan diet, and meditate according to the guidelines. The practice is not dependent on any church or temple. Master’s Teaching transcends religious and cultural boundaries.
“Every religion is good for Africa if you believe in it. I am just showing you the way to truly contact the source of your religion. There is only one God, and people find different ways to go to Hirm. It's just sometimes they get lost in the maze, so I am here to show them where to go, the shortest way. I don't come here to change your religions. And your ancestors will never be angry with you because they will be liberated through your enlightenment, through your blessing.”
“The Islam religion in the Koran, it says that all religions come from God. So, anybody just has to respect everybody else’s religion. Because people understand religion differently. You see, according to their level, they understand Buddhists. Even their own religion, they understand differently than the next person. […] Like a Buddhist monk, sometimes he says he’s a Buddha. He doesn’t mean he’s Shakyamuni Buddha. But means he realizes the Buddhahood and he’s one with the Shakyamuni Buddha. So he just says he’s a Buddha. But only if he realizes the Buddha inside. If only he realizes God inside. Then he speaks the truth.”
“(What I learned from Master, which I could not learn from the Bible, is I found God in here. My wife found her God inside her or her Buddha. It’s the same one. We used to kind of argue about our religions, a little bit different. And now we know the religions aren’t different. It’s we who make it different. There's only the religion of God. Or is it Allah or whoever you want to call Hirm. […])”
“(Based on my experience with many, many other methods, this Method has been the most powerful and most effective in raising my spiritual level. And my belief is that the reason for that is that the Method is powerful, but [also] the Master’s level is so high that She is able to raise us to a higher level.)”

The bliss of returning to the soul’s Home and entering the Heavenly realms is experienced by many Association members when practicing the Quan Yin Method with Supreme Master Ching Hai. Many are able to meditate for hours at a time to be in communion with God. We cherish every opportunity to come together in thousands for meditation retreats that can last for days. ETC…

Supreme Master Ching Hai often reminds us to remember God and offer our utmost sincere worship and praise all the time. She shared with us the Most Powerful Daily Prayer so that we can recite it at any time and anywhere.
“Make prayer to GOD, trusting in GOD and remembering GOD, a sacred, constant habit, so you will never be or feel alone or lonely and helpless, especially in time of sadness or departure from here!”
The Most Powerful Daily Prayer 4 anytime, n b4 meditation, which is the order from GOD, n Supreme Master Ching Hai shares with us by Hiers BLESSED GRACE:
“We humbly worship, praise, thank, obey and love GOD ALMIGHTY, THE MOST HIGH, THE GREATEST, for World Vegan, World Peace and Our soul-liberation.
We thank, love, praise The ONLY SON OF GOD, who is THE ULTIMATE MASTER, for our salvation.
We follow the teaching of all the Saints and Sages, we thank, love and praise Them, who are the REPRESENTATIVES OF GOD, for our spiritual elevation.”
Our Association members practice spiritually with a living Enlightened Master, the same Quan Yin Method that was taught by the great Masters of the past. In the daily prayer, Master teaches us to give thanks to the past Sages and Saints. In a sense, through these daily practices, the past Saints and Sages are no longer buried or forgotten, but brought to life. This vision is described by Reverend Hicks in the following passage.
“Suddenly, there was another great clap of thunder, that seemed to resound around the world, and I heard again the voice, the voice that seemed to speak, ‘Now this is my people. This is my beloved bride.’ And when the voice spoke, I looked upon the Earth and I could see the lakes and the mountains. The graves were opened and people from all over the world, the Saints of all ages, seemed to be rising. And as they rose from the graves, suddenly all these people came from every direction. From the east and the west, from the north and the south, and they seemed to be forming again this gigantic body. As the dead in Christ seemed to be rising first, I could hardly comprehend it. It was so marvelous. It was so far beyond anything I could ever dream or think of.”
Reverend Hicks was excited to behold a new “gigantic body” being formed. Who is this new being? We’ll learn the answer in the next episode.
