“(Dear audience of Overseas Saigon Radio, today I’m very honored to introduce to you a very popular face in the American community. It’s Mr. Vincent Paterson. It’s an honor for the Vietnamese [Aulacese] community to welcome you. And the poetry that you are talking about, is that from Supreme Master Ching Hai?) Yes, I am. These are Her beautiful poetry that some wonderful composers of the United States have taken and made into incredible songs. And speaking of the Vietnamese (Aulacese) community, I have fallen in love with Hồ Quỳnh Hương, who is here working with us. And she is so incredible; she’s so sweet.”

“(Good morning to you, Al, and thanks so much for being in the ‘Daverhood,’ and welcome. You’ve got a musical that you have written and it’s going be workshopped and done. Just tell us about ‘Silent Tears.’) And poetry is something you generally never write music to because it’s a different format. But it’s come pretty easy to me because the message is so strong. It has one theme that we’re not so terribly different. But what makes this show very different is that it breaks down boundaries, the show. The show should be against all boundaries. It should be, every continent in the world should be able to hear these songs.”

Red Carpet Media Coverage “I’m here at the renowned Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. It has held Oscar and Grammy Award ceremonies. ‘Loving the Silent Tears’ will soon premiere at this auditorium. The red carpet event was truly star-studded. Two-time Grammy-winning singer Jon Secada, Grammy-winning R&B star Jody Watley, Emmy winner Liz Callaway, and other famed singers all showed up in splendid attire. The only Chinese guest singer, Kay Tse expressed that she was very honored.”

“The prestigious and historical Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, which is one of the oldest and most luxurious halls in North America, hosted for one night a program of famous singers of different countries, called ‘Loving the Silent Tears,’ and many well-known people from the American music and entertainment world were present. In this program, Siavash Shams, the well-known Iranian singer, participated along with singers from Lebanon and Israel as the representatives of the Middle East.”
