Let’s welcome a lovely fashion show from Happy Yogi Life. Happy Yogi is designed by the outstanding humanitarian artist, Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan). Happy Yogi means happy spiritual practitioner. It serves as a reminder for people to remember their noble and blissful Nature at all times. This also reminds us that the (inner Heavenly) Light is the source of our true Beauty, and that everyone has the Supreme Master within. This new fashion line with the slogan “Be Veg. Go Green. Save the Planet” reminds us to choose a compassionate way of living with an animal(-people)-free diet.

Veggie (Vegan) fur! Don’t wear real fur; it hurts other beings. Veggie fur is beautiful. Veggie fur is humane, animal(-people)-friendly clothing. It is designed to remind us to respect the rights of animal(-people) and go cruelty-free. SM Celestial Clothes has created a series of elegant and warm veggie (vegan) furs, including shawls, hats, jackets, coats, etc. By wearing them, we can encourage others to look beautiful and save animal(-people) lives with our loving actions.

“(We read a report from United Nations FAO in 2006 on livestock and the environment, revealing that the livestock sector emerged as one of the top two or three most significant contributors to the most serious environmental crisis from local to global scales. And they also mentioned that about 18% of carbon emissions come from livestock. Could you share your opinion about adopting a vegan diet as the most powerful way to stop global warming?)

Well, as everybody knows, when economic status improves, people start eating more different (diverse) foods, including meat. And when people start eating more meat, they began to realize there are also problems with overeating of meat. For example, when people are looking into the animal husbandry production systems on how that affect the environment, they also start looking at different meats on how they impact health issues as well. And in the United States, there’s a big concern about being overweight and people eating too much and gaining weight, and certainly that’s not good for health. So, the issue of animal husbandry is related to many different concerns: environmental issues and human health issues.”
