Here is a tip on preventing harmful mold inside your home. Certain types of molds thrive in warm, damp, and dark places like bathrooms. Two common types of black molds found at homes can trigger severe asthma attacks, even fatal ones, especially with prolonged exposure. Yet another one releases toxins harmful to humans causing sick building syndrome. Babies, young children, and animal companions are especially vulnerable to these toxins. If you have allergies, asthma, or a weak immune system, consider hiring a mold remediation company. Otherwise, if you find a small area of mold, you can clean it yourself using soap, water, and vinegar. Remember to wear protective gloves and a dust mask. To prevent bathroom mold, increase ventilation by opening windows or using bathroom fans while showering. Check for plumbing leaks and dry the shower walls after use to reduce dampness and chances for mold growth.
Our good old friend, the joke of the day, is here again to give us some jolly amusement. This one’s called “Perfect English.”
Two Western students visit a Zen master in Japan. One asks him:
“Master, what is the meaning of life?”
The master replies in perfect English:
“The meaning of life is to find your true self.”
The students are amazed and bow in gratitude. As they leave, one whispers to the other:
“Did you understand any of that?”
The other shrugs and replies:
“No, but he has great English!”
?!

Dearest Most Beloved Tim Qo Tu, the Ultimate Master, our most Revered Supreme Master Ching Hai, When I was little, I had already met You, many times, without realizing it. When I was a seven-year-old in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), I saw Your image, Your face covered in white mist, wearing glistening white clothing, with light green and light blue. In one hand, You held a flowering branch; Your other hand held a gourd of Heavenly Water. I saw You watering the war-stricken country of Âu Lạc (Vietnam) with Heavenly Water from high up in the Heavens. Later, I walked into a temple and saw a statue that looked the same as You did in my dreams. I then realized Your name was Quan Yin Bodhisattva.
When the war entered Âu Lạc (Vietnam), my husband and I fled as refugees to a remote Indonesian island. Two months later, an organization from the USA built a hospital next to the ocean, where I gave birth to my child. Usually, patients were discharged within three days; however, we were allowed to stay for over two months. With no food on the island, I had nothing to feed my child, yet she was smiling, rosy, as healthy as can be. It was You who protected us all this time.
When she was almost one year old, one afternoon, I fell asleep and saw You came to visit me. You were dressed in a golden diamond sari, radiating Heavenly Light. You held a staff in one hand, encrusted with multifaceted rectangular diamonds of rainbow colors. As Your cane hit the floor, I felt and heard the reverberating Sound of Your staff. In Your other hand, You held the hand of a little girl who had my child’s face. She gazed up at You, Master, and You silently motioned with Your eyes for her to walk over to me. Today, that grown-up “little girl” works as an English tutor for Supreme Master Television.
Now after initiation, I realize that each of those dreams were of You. You have been by my side since the very beginning, before I ever recognized who You were. Our family has been initiated for over 30 years now. All my life, I have been protected by the Supreme Power of Your Love and Blessings.
