That brings us also to zoonotic disease. Then we also have the fact that huge swaths of land are being cleared for these animals, and the food to feed them and to rear them. All of these are very, very serious concerns, and all of them are connected with each other, and they’re connected to the way we treat animals for meat, eggs, and dairy, but also fashion items like leather. I think that we need to look at the root cause of all of them to protect ourselves from every single one of those issues.”
