We can be vegan forever. Yes, we can? (Yes! Yes!)

Melba Moore: And this is called “Let’s Love.” And it’s one of the wonderful, beautiful poems by Supreme Master Ching Hai.

Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan): My God. Please, please applause, and thank these wonderful, talented artists, because they forsake everything to come here for you. They did not perform for money. They did not perform for fame. They just rushed out of their business, canceled everything, ran to the airport, grab the ticket, and truly just like that, run here. Money cannot pay them, ever, ever these people. Thank you, thank you, thank you. May God bless you. May God bless us all. May God bless our planet.

We can save the planet. Yes, we can? (Yes!) We can be vegan forever. Yes, we can? (Yes! Yes!)

We love Mexico. Yes, we do? (Yes!) We love Cancún. Of course! And we thank the United Nations. We pray for the powerful United Nations and all the leaders in the world to make the right choice, because they also need our prayers and support. OK? Please pray at home for the United Nations and the world leaders, decision makers, so that they can make the right choice. They need extra spiritual points! Please give some. For example, peace comes with a price.

Peace comes when we elevate all the whole world’s consciousness. So, don’t point a finger at this and that leader or this and that group. The whole world shared happiness and sorrow all together. I mean we are all to be blamed and we are all to be cherished, we are all to be respected, and we are all to be loved. We all share this home together. No pointing fingers.

Peace, the size of Afghanistan or Pakistan, takes zillions of zillions of points. I’m a couple short, please help. OK? (OK.) I’m short a couple of zillions because I also have to do other work, you know? For example, today, if I don’t meditate today, if I run around Cancún, do other things, I lose zillions of spiritual points. It’s not money that I care. I do lose some. Please, I need all of your points put together for peace’s sake and for the planet’s sake. There is a price for everything. Please, we cannot just sit down and pray, “Please, peace come.” It’s not cheap.

Zillions of zillions and zillions of points for Afghanistan peace. Zillion, zillion, zillions more for Jerusalem and Palestine peace. Please help. Share, meditate, be vegan, and automatically we’ll give. Of course, if you’re willing. If you are not, then it’s not given like that. I’m counting my points every day and asking, “How much more? How much for that? How much for this?” I’m a little short, OK, guys? I have to confess. Please help! Everybody meditate, be vegan, please help! Not just help yourself, help the world!

(Supreme Master Ching Hai, I’m going vegan right now!) Wow! You’re my hero! One more hero! (Thank You! Thank You so much.) You make my day! You make my day. OK.

In case the foreign delegates don’t know, these are Mexican. Take some with you, souvenir on the airplane or something, take some home, give your children. I bought it for you specially, in case you didn’t have time and you didn’t know what Mexican sweets are. I bought them all already, all the vegan stuff. I bought them for the cleaners in the airport, for whoever I saw. And these are the last ones. So, treasure them, take them home, give it to your family members, say “This is Mexicana stuff!” Vegan, vegan. I read the ingredients.

In Mexico, it’s easy to be a vegan lady. Easy, easy. Look! All the sweets that you had today. You know we have vegan chicken, vegan shrimp as you ate today, vegan fish, vegan… Didn’t it taste good to you? (Yes!) Yes, see? So easy!

And besides I tell you, if you are spiritually aspired and you believe in God and as I told you, we are blessed everywhere we go. Right now, when you sleep, when you’re awake, when you have an accident even, always blessing on you, blessing on you. So please be conscious. And you can prove it to yourself. After two weeks, you’ll feel completely different if you do what I have told you today. Please, God is not judgmental, just we have forsaken our own right. This is the law. Whomever, whatever we harm, we have to share our merit, spiritual merit with it. That’s why if we are not vegan, we have less blessing. Not because God discriminates, it’s a fair law, no? Yes, or no? (Yes.)

Yes. You don’t have to believe me; it’s just logical. Yes? Whatever we harm, we have to share our merit with it. And if we continue to harm, then we are depleting. And that’s why we have to suffer, or we have to continue to come back to be the victim in order to erase that bad connection and start it anew again. But every time we come back here, we forget. Please remember, please remember you are Divine. Please remember you have God within you. I promise you really do have God within you. It’s not just talking. You must know it, must realize it, must quiet down every day 20, 30 minutes whenever you have time. It doesn’t have to be at night, doesn’t have to be daytime.

The best time is even from 10 to 3 in the daytime. Yes! You have more spiritual points that way. OK, I’m just talking like a commercial person. But what should we do? We need them! We need spiritual points, yes? OK, love you so much! Thank you for coming.

These great artists, you cannot just even buy them with money. Even if you have lots of money, if they don’t like you, they don’t come. Yes, I’m so lucky, I’m so lucky. Thank you, you, all of the artists, all the singers. Bye-bye. We appreciate it. We appreciate very much your noble support tonight. Thanks for coming. (This is great energy happening right.) Yes, yes!

Mariana Tosca (vegan): We appreciate your presence this evening here. We also would really like to gratefully thank the Mayor of Cancún for his generosity and his incredible hospitality and for kindly co-hosting this event. We applaud the dedication of all the noble Greenest Heroes and thank our talented performers for brightening our world through their artistry and such magnificent artistry it is in every facet of art. Most of all, we thank Supreme Master Ching Hai, for graciously joining us this evening and for Her tireless and loving efforts to save the planet.

Lionel Friedberg (vegan): So, ladies and gentlemen, let’s complete the evening with one little mantra together. Let’s recite this little mantra together because this really can make a difference. Be Veg, Go Green, 2 Save the Planet! All together: Be Veg, Go Green, 2 Save the Planet! Thank you! May God bless you all!

Ladies and gentlemen, I have one little final thing to ask of you tonight. Supreme Master Ching Hai, would You honor us with a book signing? (Book signing? Yes, sure, I do that with pleasure.) Thank You so much.

Dr. PJ Puntenney: I am the co-chair of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development’s Education Caucus, and we have a climate change delegation here. And we’re working on a well-prepared society.

This event helped raise my awareness. It was delicious, tasty and very, very delicious. This was superb. Whoever the chef was, brilliant work! Brilliant work. The presentation, the colors, but the food itself was incredibly tasty. The program is incredible. It’s fantastic. Be Veg, Go Green, 2 Save the Planet!

Rougan (vegetarian): It has been an amazing event. And I didn’t know this organization before, and I think it’s extraordinary. Congratulations.

I think the message behind is completely correct. If we want to change the planet, we have to first change ourselves. And definitely, food is the number one (thing) we can do, all of us. And I’ve been a vegetarian all my life, so I completely agree with this. This decision to change the world is in the hands of all of us. Because even if the leaders take decisions, if we don’t follow, if we don’t change our life habits, our everyday habits on how we use energy, on how we use food, on what footprint we leave on the planet. So it’s a collective action. That’s the beautiful thing about making this change in humanity. It depends on all of us.

I’ve been working on environmental education all my life, and I very much appreciate this. And I’m very impressed by Her, Master. I think it’s incredible how such a small woman, tiny woman can have such an energy to move all this. And I want to thank Her and all the organization.
