“Así Hablaba Quetzalcóatl (Thus Spoke Quetzalcóatl)” is a beautiful tale that offers upliftment to all Truth seekers yearning for spiritual understanding. In His offering of discourses to earnest seekers, we see that Quetzalcóatl highlights the importance of the inward journey. Transcending both time and space, this journey connects us with the inner Heavenly Light and Music. Thus, the words from “Así hablaba Quetzalcóatl” illuminate one’s spiritual endeavors with profound Truth.

“Quetzalcoatl, addressing His people in the stillness of their home would say so: Days will come in which the stillness of the night will be disturbed, in which these skies will be broken, and even the Moon will feel shame and will hide. Days will come in which no one will be able to go out and enjoy the fresh air of night, not even to contemplate the hope of the stars. Everything will be covered with a cloth of instability, and even Earth itself will refuse to yield more fruit, and the skies themselves will refuse to give their water. Even the swallows will not want to make their nests beside men anymore. Then you will ask each other, and you will blame yourselves, and you will kill each other as if evil were not in yourselves. Many will cry, but it will be too late. The Aurora will be dead and Life will stand still in Time, waiting for new sprouts which will be raised in Stillness and Peace, and not under trade, stealing or death.”

“And He sat before them, and so He said to them: When you, my brother, see your reflection in the water and think you are what you see, you are inventing time. If you knew that you are not the suit of flesh you are wearing, what will Time matter to you? Time does not exist for the Spirit, but when the Spirit gives life to a body, it believes it is that body, and therefore suffers the anguishes of time and matter. How many are those that when their bodies die think that they are dead, and how many are those who believe they die when they see a body die, who believe that whoever dwelled in it died with it? I feel sorry for them, for they only see with their eyes, and do not understand that the eyes of the body can only see bodies and the death of things, not Life. Because how can you ask a root, which lives underground, to see the sun’s light? It will be too difficult to let it understand that it is feeding a stem, some leaves and flowers, and that it itself is in the surface of the light.” “The ordinary man can see with nothing more than the eyes of the face, can see nothing but material things. The human mind is the one that wants to measure and trap Time, but “this” is unreal. However, one non temporal, non-personal condition exists, which is the spiritual consciousness of man. The spiritual man has a spiritual eye and a spiritual ear, that allow him to contemplate the Truth.”
