“He shall be the victorious Benefactor (Saoshyant) by name and World-Renovator (Astavat-ereta) by name. He is the Benefactor because He will benefit the entire physical world; He is the World-Renovator because He will establish the physical living existence indestructible.”
Originating from different parts of the world, many ancient religious scriptures and texts have left strikingly similar predictions about the current period, even though they have given it different names. For example, it’s called the Last Judgment in Christianity, the “Kali Yuga” in Hinduism, the Dharma-Ending Time in Buddhism, and the 13th Bʼakʼtun cycle in Mayan culture. In Zoroastrianism, this period is compared to a tree with iron branches – the “most evil period.”
Zoroastrianism is a religion emerged from ancient Iran, also known as Persia, approximately three thousand years ago. It was founded by the Venerated Enlightened Master and Prophet Zarathustra or Lord Zoroaster (vegetarian).
Lord Zoroaster taught people to worship only the highest God, Ahura Mazda (Wise Lord) and to be compassionate toward animal-people. He said that the universe contains two forces, the good and the evil, and that humans should always choose goodness and be vigilant against the evil spirit Angra Mainyu. The following is written in the Zoroastrian holy scripture, the Avesta:
“In the beginning, there were two Primal Spirits, Twins simultaneously active, These are the Good and the Evil, in thought, and in word, and in deed. Between these two, let the wise one choose right, Be good, not base.”
Traces of Zoroastrian teachings can be found in Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and the Bahá’í Faith.
The Zoroastrian text titled Zand-I Wahman Yasn is a record of the prophetical conversation between Ahura Mazda and Lord Zoroaster of the world’s future.
“Ahura Mazda displayed the omniscient Wisdom to Zoroaster, and through it He beheld the trunk of a tree, on which were four branches – one golden, one of silver, one of steel, and one was mixed up with iron. […]
Ahura Mazda spoke to Zartosht the Spitaman (Zoroaster) thus: ‘That trunk of a tree which Thou sawest, and those four branches, are the four periods which will come.’”
The four branches symbolize the four stages of world development, and Ahura Mazda explained that the branch mixed with iron represents the “most evil period.” Among the signs of this time are fundamental upheavals in nature and human society. We’re currently witnessing the unfolding of these unfortunate events.
“There will be many earthquakes; the wind will blow very furiously; much indigence, want, and unhappiness will appear on Earth…”
“And it will not be possible for a fortunate cloud and the holy wind to produce rain at the proper time and season. A gloomy cloud shall benight the whole sky. The hot wind and the cold wind will arrive and carry away the crops and the seeds of corn. The rain, too, will not rain at the proper season […] And the water of rivers and springs will diminish and it will have no increase.” ETC…
According to another Zoroastrian text, the Bundahishn, the end time’s difficult trials will culminate with a comet called Gochihr that will strike the Earth. The resulting melted metal will be a final test of virtue for humans.
“As Gochihr falls in the celestial sphere from a moon-beam on to the Earth, the distress of the Earth becomes such-like as that of a sheep when a wolf falls upon it. Afterwards, the fire and halo melt the metal of Shahrewar, in the hills and mountains, and it remains on this Earth like a river.”
“Then all men will pass into that melted metal and will become pure; when one is righteous, then it seems to him just as though he walks continuously in warm milk; but when wicked, then it seems to him in such manner as though, in the world, he walks continuously in melted metal.”
A disastrous comet strike was also prophesized by the French astrologer Nostradamus. He wrote in his Quatrains, Century II-41:
“The great star will burn for seven days, The cloud will cause two suns to appear: The big mastiff will howl all night When the great pontiff will change country.”
At this time of trial and tribulation, many religions prophesied the appearance of a Savior figure, such as Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian) in Christianity, Maitreya Buddha (vegan) in Buddhism, Lord Kalki (vegetarian) in Hinduism, Lord Quetzalcóatl (vegetarian) in the Mayan civilization. All of these Saintly Beings we have identified is our Most Cherished Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan).
Similarly, the Lord Zoroaster predicted a Benefactor and World-Renovator, Who will turn the tide around at the final hour. This Savior’s name is Saoshyant.
“He shall be the victorious Benefactor (Saoshyant) by name and World-Renovator (Astavat-ereta) by name. He is the Benefactor because He will benefit the entire physical world; He is the World-Renovator because He will establish the physical living existence indestructible.”
“Afterwards, Saoshyant and His assistants, by order of the Creator Ahura Mazda, give every man the reward and recompense suitable to his deeds; this is the righteous existence where it is said that they convey man to paradise.”
The timeline of the arrival of this great event is also mentioned in Avesta. It’s called Frashegird, meaning “making wonderful.”
“Zoroaster asked Ahura Mazda: ‘How much time remains until the time of Frashegird (New Golden Era), that is, the making of Frashegird and the Future Body?’ Ahura Mazda said: ‘3,000 years.’”
Three thousand years from the time when Lord Zoroaster lived, which was 1000 BC, takes us to 2000 CE – the present day. Therefore, we can estimate that we’re at the very end of the “iron branch” and on the brink of the New Golden Era.
