“Happiness is Where the Heart is” - A New Year Celebration with Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), Part 1 of 6

As we are greeting the year 2023, we would like to share with you a special new year celebration in Duisburg, Germany in 2007, when a small group of our Association members in Europe (all vegans) were fortunate to spend the first day of the year with our beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan).

“Do I look like a New Year? (Yeah.) (You look like a fairy.) A fairy! Wow! That’s even better. Happy New Year, again. (Happy New Year, Master.) It’s a good New Year we had. Last night. Good New Year’s party. And today we have another New Year’s performance. If every New Year is like this, it’s good. (Yes.) Every day like this, it’s good. Would be Heaven, no?”

“(It’s the first time I’ve ever played in front of an audience. This piece I’d like to try to play is actually written for piano by a contemporary Iranian pianist and it’s called ‘Golden Dream,’ from ‘Golden Dreams.’ And I’d like to play the melody part of it, part of the piece. I hope you like it.)”
