Fihi Ma Fihi, Discourse 1, It was the thought of me that brought you to my presence. Words are the shadow of reality, a mere branch of reality. Since the shadow draws, how much more the reality! Words are a pretext. It is the inner bond that draws one person to another, not words. Discourse 3, one thing in this world that must never be forgotten. If you were to forget all else, but did not forget that, then you would have no reason to worry. So, everyone comes into this world for a particular task, and that is their purpose. If they do not perform it, then they will have done nothing.
