Hinduism speaks of only one God or existence, and therefore, it is not contradicting any other religions. So, Hinduism is so tolerant and it accommodates all views, and yet maintains that the Truth is the only existence, without a second. That is Hinduism. However, there is one aspect that is not possessed by material science: the sacred testimony. The sages go far beyond your physical observation and inference. So the sacred testimony is a very very important foundation of Hindu philosophy, and it can be understood by you if you also personally follow and experience your own Self.
