Once upon a time, there was an old couple. Though they were so poor, they were very kind-hearted. Both of them were very honest. One day, the old man was organizing the cabinets in the kitchen. A soy bean fell down from the cabinet when he was wiping it. The wooden floors cracked, and that bean jumped in and ran away. The statue was sitting there. When the old man asked, the statue answered, “Ah! Is that your bean? I ate it.” “Since I ate your bean, if I don’t do anything for you, I’ll feel embarrassed.
