In today’s news, Saudi aid agency distributes relief vouchers in Lebanon and Somalia, modern animal-people raising operations cause more pollution than all the world’s cars and planes combined, US study suggests ancient origins of world’s largest living organism, children attend G20 summit, calling on leaders to take immediate action on hunger and climate change, couple in Arkansas, USA, who emptied savings to rescue severely injured puppy spark nationwide support, company from South Korea launches vegan marbled steak product, and middle school in Romania welcomes animal-people into classroom.

Today I would like to share a gardening tip with you. By adopting a “no-dig” or “no-till” gardening approach, you preserve and improve soil health naturally. Digging up soil breaks down the soil’s structure, releases carbon into the air and disturbs earthworm and beneficial fungus activity. Not tilling protects beneficial microbes that work with plant roots to create a healthier root system. A no-till garden is also a perfect place to recycle yard clippings and kitchen scraps, turning them into compost that enriches the soil. Undisturbed, enriched soil requires less fertilizer, reducing garden inputs and minimizing the need for manufactured products.

Now, it’s time to join the laughter gym and train yourself with the joke of the day. It’s called “Truth Be Told.”

A rookie pitcher was struggling at the mound, so the catcher walked up to have a talk with him:

“I think I’ve figured out your problem. You always lose control at the same point in every game.”

“Oh really? When is that?”

“Right after the national anthem.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Hsueh-Ying in Taiwan, also known as Formosa
