So now, just like every other yogi, or monk, renunciate, the Master Mahavira... He went to another village called Kalambuka. Two brothers, Megh and Kalahasti, ruled this village, the chiefs of the village, the two brothers. They saw the two, Master Mahavira and His companion, come to their village. They suspected that they were thieves or some bad robbers or something. "Tying them with ropes." Oh, this is the younger brother, tied them both up and beat them up to get information, to get them to confess.
