(Yes, I got initiated 14 years ago. In the beginning, I often saw Master in my dreams. You were like a sweet mother. You came to my house, stayed for a couple hours, then You disappeared. It was often like that. And now, I don’t see it anymore. So what is the meaning of it?) […] It doesn’t mean you can’t, but you passed into a different stage. (Ah, to a different stage.) Yeah. Whenever it is necessary, I will appear, and if it is not necessary, I won’t appear anymore. But Master is always with you.
Behind? (Dear Master, can I speak Aulacese [Vietnamese] or French?) OK, what to say. Speak in Aulacese (Vietnamese). (Aulacese [Vietnamese].) Because you are Aulacese (Vietnamese), so speak Aulacese (Vietnamese). (Yes, I got initiated 14 years ago. In the beginning, I often saw Master in my dreams. You were like a sweet mother. You came to my house, stayed for a couple hours, then You disappeared. It was often like that. And now, I don’t see it anymore. So what is the meaning of it?) You’ve seen me enough already. Let others see me, too. (That means I can’t see You anymore.) It doesn’t mean you can’t, but you passed into a different stage. (Ah, to a different stage.) Yeah. Whenever it is necessary, I will appear, and if it is not necessary, I won’t appear anymore. But Master is always with you. Understand?
(Yes, talking about the [inner Heavenly] Sound, sometimes I am not doing the [inner Heavenly] Sound meditation, but I still hear it on my side. But it is low.) Good. (Is that a physical problem or...) No, no, it’s not. (Not a physical problem.) No, it's not. (Sometimes they say like, “Ringing in the ear.”) No, it's not that. Ringing is different. (So it wasn’t ringing.) No. Ringing is different. (Is that good or bad?) Good.
(Now I would like to tell my experience. I will tell two experiences.) Wow, too many. (On the day before yesterday, Master taught the Gift. After Master said It, then I repeated It many times. In the beginning, I had aches and pains on the back, and aches and pains everywhere on the body. So I recited the Gift for about seven-ten times, then naturally, the aches and pains went away. So what did that mean, Master?) What? Still asking such a question. Oh my, my… (Was that an experience or not?) Forget it, if you ask this kind of question, who can answer you? Too difficult! Too difficult, I can’t answer it. Is there anyone who can answer him? (My aches and pains just went away. The blessing Force was so powerful.) You answer him, I am stuck already. (I think the blessing Power was very strong, it cleansed the karma.) (Then now, I don’t have aches and pains anymore.) So why keep asking? You want the aches and pains to return? OK, OK.
(Now I would like to say my other experience. When You came to France for the first time, it was April 1993.) Yeah. (Some initiates from America came to stay at my house. And they took the cell phone to follow You to France. When they went back to America, they sent me a gift. It was a box of vegan foods. So I had to go to pick it up at [Charles de] Gaulle airport. But the customs officer didn’t let me take it. He told me that it was food,) Food. (spoiled food, so he didn't allow me to take it. So he said he would throw the box in the trash can. So I began to recite the Five [Holy] Names for about 15 minutes. Suddenly... because he had to leave to do something, and when he came back, he said: “OK, now I’ll let you have it, but you have to pay tax.”) OK. (Then I started to recite the [Holy] Names, the second time.) So he let you take it at no charge. (He had to go do something again. A few minutes later, a lady customs officer came and said, “Go ahead and take it. You don’t have to pay anything.” Was that also an experience?) My God! You keep asking! You know already but keep asking. You have such blessing power, what else do you expect? Always asking! If you practice, you will have anything you want, what else do you expect? (Yes.) If you practice more every day, you will have help.
(Yes. Since the day I followed Master, I didn’t know about Buddhist sutras at all, previously. But since I started meditating, my wisdom opened up. And I sat down to write many things, a lot. Now, I have written thousands of pages to explain about the Buddha’s teachings. So one time, I wrote to Master to ask You if I should print these out for others to know. Master said no, but should spread Master’s teachings instead. That meant I should drop my ego, because I should spread Master’s teachings, instead of my own [explanation of Buddhist sutras]. I should not do that. Master taught me in the reply letter that I should be humble. So from then on, I dared not write letters to Master anymore. But I still wrote letters to Master. One time, I wrote to Master about the song of Trịnh Công Sơn, “Where Is Our Origin.” Because at that time, I went to get initiated in Miaoli. At that time, Master organized a Christmas 1992 [retreat].) Really? (And Master sang that song.) Oh, for fun only. (Yes. So I paid attention to that song and I understood the meaning of the song. So I wrote a letter to You. I wrote the meaning of that song in the letter, but never received Your reply. You answered me three times for three letters, but not for the fourth one.) I only reply what is necessary. What for do I answer that. (So that one was not worth it.) If you understood, I don’t need to answer.
(Yes, one more thing, Master. The Five Holy Names You taught us. I studied the meaning of the Five Names, and probably I understood them in a different way, so I don’t know whether You will let me say it here?) Forget it. Whatever you understood is for yourself only. What for do you need to understand those Names? They are for your protection, for your elevation, no need to study them. Just concentrate on spiritual practice. Don’t pay attention to those things. (Then forget it.) Yes, forget it. Put down those burdens as much as possible. Here, I give you a (vegan) candy. A special candy. (Thank You, Master.)
There you are! Next one. This one. Her. Is that you? You want to? (Yes.) It's half French, half... (Half Chinese.) (After my initiation in 1993, I wanted to work for Master. But I have a Chinese passport, so I can't go to Taiwan [Formosa].) I understand. (And now I have a French passport, but I'm too old.) How old? (Sixty years old.) Sixty years old? (Yes, is that OK?) But you're still working with Supreme Master TV, magazines? (I like working for Supreme Master TV.) Yes. That's the same. (But I'm not talented. I don't speak English.) Talent or “talon”! (I don't speak English.) Translate, Chinese-French, French-Chinese? (French-Chinese is fine.) OK! But no need. (But at Supreme Master TV, they need Chinese?) No, no need. (That's why I say, now I'm free, because I'm no longer working, I'm retired... but I'm too old, and I have no talent.) What can you do besides “no talent”? (I don't know how to drive, I regret it very much. Because when I was still young, I used to say to myself, I live a very simple life, so I don't have to drive,) I understand. (I don't need to buy a nice house. I just work that way.) You think you’re not ready, so you have to stay that way.
(Now I say to myself, Master has many disciples, but the young people have their problems – children, family and parents, adults.) Yes, yes. (But I'm free now.) You don’t have children? (I have a son, and he lives in China. He is grown up. He is 32 years old already. He doesn't need me anymore. My parents are already gone.) Be happy. (Now, I am all alone in France. I was thinking, “But I'm in good condition.” For example, I still have time.) Yes. (I'm still in good health, but I regret because...) Very old. Me and you. Both of us are very old. (I regret because I didn't learn to drive.) You can't drive either? Really no talent. (That's why I'm saying, oh my God, I'm....) (She's a good cook. She cooks.) Does she cook well? (I cook, but only a few dishes.) (She does decoration very well.) Decoration? (Decoration, small things, but not grandiose.) (She works a lot for the center. She says she does nothing, but she does a lot for the center.) (No, no, those are small things.) For what? (For the Center in Paris.) Oh, for the Center. That's enough! (That's enough.) If you do it for the Center… The Center in Paris is even working for us, for ourselves. Yes. (So, I see that all the brothers and sisters from the Center of Paris, from France, they are willing to work for Master, for…) Above all, you have to be very sincere. (…for Supreme Master TV. And they work a lot.) You can do “gardener,” “garden”? (Garden is her. She is a specialist.) She is a naturopath. (But I like gardening.) Ah, OK, OK. (But I can learn. If Master needs, I'm going to learn from her.) No need. It's for cutting leaves. Cutting and washing. I don't need much. (Yes.)
If not, or if... (Supreme Master TV.) No, now I have a small house. Even when I need someone, there's no room. You can't stay in... the tent. (Tent.) In the tent all the time. It's cold, it's cold. (It's a pity.) A pity? (It's a pity because I've wanted to work for a long time, for example, in Miaoli, I could not.) OK. You can ask if they need you there. Maybe you can. (Miaoli or...?) Miaoli (Miaoli, yes, OK.) Or maybe LA (Los Angeles) (Supreme Master TV) sometimes. I don't know. (Yes.) You have to ask both if they need someone with talent like you. Maybe, OK? (Thank You, Master.) What kind of sign are you? (Dog.) Dog! “Quak quak.” No. “Woof woof.” Dog, right? (Dog, yes.) You can't drive, you can't... (Well, that's the problem.) …garden, you can't do this, you can't do that. I can't do anything either. That's why I need someone who can drive. If I can drive, then you can come, but I can’t either.
(Master, I have a question. About four months ago, I became ill. So, I meditated 24 hours a day. I was able to meditate 24 hours a day at home. But when I recovered, I couldn’t meditate like that anymore.) Couldn’t do that anymore. (Not anymore. I tried to meditate like that at home.) Really? (I just couldn’t. I would like to know why I couldn’t do it.) Perhaps because you needed it at the time, so the Master Power helped you, gave you support. Now, you have to do it on your own. It doesn’t matter; just meditate as much as you can. Now that you’ve recovered, there’s no hurry. (During that period, I felt that time went fast.) I understand. (Time passed by very fast. Now that I am on my own, time passes very slowly.) Really? (I just can’t meditate well.) Right, right. Then how about meditating at the Center with everyone? (It’s OK at the Center.) Also goes very slowly, not fast? (But it’s not OK at home.) Well, then go to the Center. Meditate with everyone, OK? Go whenever you can. At home, just meditate as much as possible. (OK, thank You.)
